Special Edition of Nokia N73 to Celebrate the Holy Month of Ramadan

Nokia has just launched a special edition of its Nokia N73 handset exclusively for the Middle East and North Africa markets. The model is meant to celebrate the Holy month of Ramadan and also includes several applications that Arab consumers might appreciate.

The special edition Nokia N73 comes
in a stylish soft white color with golden highlights over its edges and buttons. Its most impressive features that manage to truly distinguish this handset from the original model are the applications for Arab users. The handset has a collection of Azkars for the morning and the evening, an Islamic Organizer with audible alarms for the five daily prayers, a Qibla direction indicator and a Hijri calendar.

The Hajj and Umrah application provides detailed descriptions for the Hajj and Umrah, while the Ramadaniat application explains all the instructions and rules for the Holy month of Ramadan. The device proves to be even more useful, as these traditions may turn out to be quite complex and with a lot of steps to follow. The special edition Nokia N73 proves to be useful not only for those who want to make sure that they don't forget any of these steps, but also for the younger ones who are only learning them.

Nokia has also added two Islamic e-books and a Universal Dictionary application which supports English, Arabic, Farsi, Urdu and French. Because of this, the device proves to be highly educational, without losing one bit of its initial charm.

Nokia N73 has an impressive 3.2 megapixel camera with auto-focus and Carl Zeiss optics and several other evolved capabilities. The special edition of the handset will be available in retail stores starting with next week.

The launch coincides with the Holy month of Ramadan and the offer includes a full range of applications, carefully tailored to meet the needs of consumers in the Arab world.

Fully featured with a new look
The Nokia N73 Special Edition is available in an elegant new soft white colour with subtle highlights. The fully featured sales package includes a 2GB mini SD memory card, matching leather pouch and high performance stereo headset. In addition to a large 2.4 inch display, the stunning multimedia computer features a 3.2 megapixel auto-focus camera with Carl Zeiss optics and integrated stereo speakers for optimized audio pleasure.

In addition to the pre-loaded content consumers using the Nokia N73 Special Edition can also download other additional applications directly from the Download! feature on the device. Available in 3G, quadband EDGE/GSM networks, the Nokia N73 Special Edition has all the diversity of a multimedia computer, enabled with the S60 3rd Edition Software on Symbian OS.

The Nokia N73 Special Edition is expected be available in retail outlets next week.

ramadan edition sinadya talaga yan para sa mga muslim, ang nadagdag dyan yung praying alarm nila hindi ko alam tawag eh pero isa yun sa mga nadagdag saka yung maps nga pala

Go to Menu - Tools - Settings - Phone - Standby Mode - Choose Active Standby to turn it off

question lang po. nag-DL po ako dito ng mga themes, kaya lang nung ni-install ko sa N73 ko, lagi na lang "expired certificate" daw. Ano po ba ang ibig sabihin nun? Saka pano po ma-sosolve ung ganun gproblema?

Sa mga taong natatakot na mag upgrade ng firmware nila thru pc (kagaya ko ) , you can also visit any Nokia Repair Center at sila na mag u-upgrade for you.

Free service ito para sa mga phones na may warranty pa. But I think free din ito (or kung merun man charge maliit lang siguro) sa mga wala na phone warranty.

Mas mabilis & mas safe ito, not to mention hassle free para sa atin.

Pano maginstall ng games kung ung file is not *.sis, *.jar, or *.sisx? Pagkadownload ko as zip, inextract ko pero daming files eh pero walang installer. May META_INF na folder ata un pero wal din sa loob installer
