Theory about Brian's death :

When he was busting the time machine he told Brian that the week before he used it to travel ahead to Christmas to get the newest toys. So in theory, Stewie could wait for Christmas and meet his past self who is visiting that period, then use the time pad to go back and save Brian.

Tsaka if you watched carefully, kotse nya yung bumangga sa kanya, so theory #2.
Dahil sa kaka-time travel nila ni Stewie. Nagkaron ng isa pang Brian. (Just like in previous time travelling episodes of Family Guy.)
On same timeline then killed the current Brian para isa lang ang Brian sa timeline na yun.
