Filezilla, server ang download at install mo.
Configure as FTPS. Or kung may mahanap ka na server kaya mag SFTP (iba yan sa FTPS), ok din.
Hopefully alam mo ginagawa mo. The fact that you have to ask sa public forum is a disaster waiting to happen.

mga Sir help naman po about sa FileServer, plan kasi ng Boss ko mag pa FileServer sa Company, ano po kaya mabibigay nyo na idea sakin or suggestions ako kasi mag mmanage, thanks po!
Windows Server has a file server role. Baka yun yung hanap ng boss mo. If you have a windows server in your company you can add a File Server role or mas maganda magdeploy kapa ng isa pang Windows Server dedicated for File Server lang.

simple lang pero curious ako, need mo ba dito static ip? what if ibibigay mo na sa fren mo ung ftp server and ung fren mo is nasa ibang location? also no need na ba ung port forwarding?

Yes, ang mga server is usually configured with static ip kasi hindi pwedeng paiba iba un ng ip. Mostly ang nakadynamic lang isa mga end devices. Need ng port forwarding sir since iaaccess ng friend mo ung ftp server mo from remote location.

tama ang cnabi ni sir keb kailangan static IP dapat ang internet mo din e. nka static ip din pero kung mag file server ka mas ok sa akin yung centos or linux para magaan sa unit at walang problema virus ganyan ang ginawa ko sa pinapasukan ko na call center

tama ang cnabi ni sir keb kailangan static IP dapat ang internet mo din e. nka static ip din pero kung mag file server ka mas ok sa akin yung centos or linux para magaan sa unit at walang problema virus
and not only a static IP, kahit naman dynamic IP pwede basta ba hindi via proxy gaya ng ginagawa ng Globe na connections (kelangan magbayad ng extra for static IP). besides, having a static IP has it's disadvantages. so mas better ang dynamic PUBLIC ip coupled with dns forwarding services.
personally, for fileserving purposes, gamit ko headless debian, via SSH.

nangyayari ba yan WITHIN or OUTSIDE ng network mo?
kung within, check mo na tumatakbo talaga ang service mo
kung from outside, check mo na properly forwarded ang ports mo via canyouseeme.org

TS suggest ko sayo mag FreeNAS kanalang as file server wag na yung filezilla. Pwede sya for linux and for windows. You can use it with Active Directory para macontrol mo din yung read/write permissions, etc. tapos may quota din per users. Aralin mo nalang TS maraming tuts sa net o kaya sa youtube. Yun yung dineploy ko sa company namin laking tipid kasi Opensource yung FREENAS.

all I recommend to him/her is just buy a NAS, much easier to deal and setup with.

kung may skillz ka sa linux, then using owncloud is a good start. yan gamit ng company namin to upload their files to the company at meron syncronization program na pwede ma install sa computer para matic na upload yung mga files na ginagawa nila for the company.
