Forever is only just a word
Because I know it is,
To me that word is absurd,
What’s hers will never be his.
One day we’re all fall in love,
But will that love last forever?
Or we will lose what we have,
A love that we thought so clever.
Because that forever never seems,
It ends up what and how we planned,
Ruins our hopes and dreams,
Something I could never understand.
How a word that’s so profound,
Can fail us so many times,
Although it never makes a sound,
You’ll hear the pain it chimes.
