GLOBE Globe Postpaid corrupts large file downloads (rar and iso)

May napansin ako kay Globe kung magdodownload ka ng malalaking files sizes nag cocorrupt siya especially rar at iso files. Sino nakaka experience nito ? TIA

OO nga ano!

Several months ago, nung nakikigamit pa ako ng globe broadbands ng pinsan ko, lagi ko yang nae-experience. Mabilis nga download, pero pag completed na (even if the download manager says successful ang download), always corrupt ang nada-download ko. I even download ZIP files na around 150MB lang ang filesize but still, corrupted when I extracted them.

The same happens kapag nagpapa-load ako ng consumable data. Hindi naman madalas, pero nangyayari na corrupt yung file.

Nung magpakabit na ako ng skybroadband last August, never ko na na-experience yang corrupt download. OK na OK na. So possible na baka nga dahil sa globe connection yan.

This is a confirmation that I am also having the same issue using Globe Tattoo Plan 999 with Anti Bill Shock. Sa tuwing maco-complete ko yung large downloaded file ko using IDM, kahit completed naman ang download, once extract or install ko na, may notification na ako na corrupted ang data. Nasa 34GB o higit pa and nasayang na download ko due to corrupted data.

An observation was made and below are my findings:
- Downloading large data through IDM is very unstable. There is a high frequency of large downloaded data getting corrupted even if the IDM notified you that it was already completed. As for small size of data, it appears that most of my download are successful without any sign of corruption per my several test download on all 2GB and below sizes of data.

- Adjusting the download speed of your IDM using the Speed Limiter (Tested 300kbps to 500kbps lock download) did not resolve the issue.

- Updating IDM using the latest version and build did not resolve the issue as well.

- Downloading small to large sizes of data through Torrent is stable. All downloaded data through torrent (in my case, using uTorrent) appears to be stable and I never received any issue on corrupted data. Yung hindi ko ma-download through direct link gamit sa IDM dahil laging corrupt ang data tinorrent ko na lang!

Note that the test was only conducted in one entire week. I'll provide an update if anything come up. I still haven't found any workaround on the corrupted large file direct download, so for now, I will be utilizing my Torrent application for large download.

Doon po sa mga naka-experience ng issue na ito, kindly share your observation or any suggestions so we may be able to determine on what causes the error.

na experience ko rin ang ganyan nong old polko firmware ang gamit mo sa globe modem. nong zain or inupdate ko to new polko fw, hindi na siya nag error sa zipped files.

na experience ko rin yan. ganito lang ang gawin nyo, sa connection setting ng idm, set nyo sa one connection lang. medyo babagal nga lang pero solve ang problema ko. try nyo rin.

corrupted talaga sya kahit mga 100mb, same globe antibill shock pero pag gamit ko yung LTE 50gb na plan nila oke download. Kala ko din IDM pero sa ISP talaga haha

kino corrupt nila yung mga big files na downloaded, sa idm. sure 100% corrupted.
