Ako 1 month na, wala pa rin pumapansin sa profile ko. 100% na yung job profile ko wew. Naayos ko na, pero wala talaga minimum na rate ko.

I started without any experience, nag tiyaga mag hanap ng mababang rate na job hanggang nakaipon ng experience at nakapili ng mataas-taas na sahod na work.

Now I've been working full time (40hours per week) with my client for 3+ years na..

Tiyaga lang.

yung saken naman, yung profile ko disapproved din kasi marami na daw applicant for typing job

Dapat Upwork escrow payment system ang tanggapin nyo. wag yung direct to your paypal or direct to your bank. I got screwed by a few thousands of dollars there. Also check the profile of your employer.check if they've hired before,how much,and if they paid. also read their reviews.

newbie lng po ako sa upwork pero I consumed all my alloted connects and it's been a month now, 100% pa nmn profile ko at maayos nmn picture at ang cheap po ng rate ko pero wala pa rin po hanggang ngayon :'( I badly need a job po kasi right now, galing po akong contact center at nagpasyang mag home based nlng baka sakaling mas maenjoy namin ng mga anak ko majority ng time ko. Upwork escrow works like a third party na humahawak sa payment ng clients.
This is very biased para sa ating mga freelancer na ayaw ng hourly rate.

Hindi nila pwede bawiin ang escrow (aka downpayment) kapag hindi natin ito inapprove. So safety feature yan.
Sa side naman ng client, hindi rin sila matatakbuhan ng freelancer kapag hindi tapos ang trabaho.
Pag hindi tapos/approved ang trabaho, hindi nila yan irerelease ng full payment.

NOTE: ang fixed price payments ay magrereflect lang sa account mo after 5 days upon approval.
Parang may clearing time yan, kagaya ng cheques sa banko.

Add ko na rin ang sample agreements kapag fixed price ang project mo.
