HELP! Virus external H.Drive

mga ka Symb.. need ko po help nyo..nag ka virus po hard drive ko nagkaron po sya ng shortcut taoos nadagdagan ng file tpos ung iba ko pong files nawala lahat dn ng movies ko around 4ooGb nawala.. tinry ko na attrib wala pa ren.. pero pag makikita ung file size na ganon paren same sa dati.. :'( need ko mga important files ko..Pahelp naman po ka symb..nu po dapat kong gawin..? Please sana may punansin..

yoko na sa smadav.. cguro yan dahilan kc after ko mag reformat nag install ako nian Smadav tapos active pa pro.. after ko plug in ng hard drive nag scan sya tapos wala nman virus tapos pag open ko kulang na folders..then nag scan ulet ako wala nman hangang sa may mga bago nang folders tska wala na ung iba kong files..ung mga importante pa ung nawala.. tsk3.. :'( SALAMAT nalang ka symb.. pero mai iba kapa bang alam like ginagamitan ng CMD..gnawa ko ma kc mga attrib2x na yan e pero wala paren.. :'(

First to do po is not to panic, andyan pa din yung files and mga movies mo po hehe all you have to do is do the following:

1. punta ka sa folder options then check mo yung view hidden files and folders

2. Install Malwarebytes kahit yung trial lang

3. Install NOD32 or if you have any other Anti virus uninstall mo muna

4. RUN malwarebytes

5. Scan Using NOD32

Wait for them to finish..

Now for you to see your files, open mo yung drive ng flashdrive or external drive mo using right click >> open sa my computer/ DO NOT DOUBLE CLICK the drive kasi if andun pa yung autorun virus it will reactivate and the problem will reoccur.

Now nasa external drive window ka na? there will be icon na DISK ? HD Disk icon.. itapat mo muna ang mouse pointer and then check sa properties kung anung type siya, if FOLDER siya then eto na yung files mo open mo na pero if .EXE or APplication type siya hindi yan yun, again remind ko lang ha for you to see kailangan na ayus mo na yung settings sa Folder Options sa VIEW. SHOW HIDDEN FILES, FOLDERS and DRIVE.

madali lang yan pre una install kalang ng antivirus tapos scan mo lahat ng drive mo pag na scan na lahat gamit ka ng usb show, ok na non.

Salamat sa mga idea boss.. pero naayos ko na po yung ginawa ko po, pumunta ako CMD prompt type tapos nag chkdsk c:/r po ako.. kung ano po ung letter ng drive palitan lang po yung c tapos enter na po..kaso matagal nga lang.. ung sken ndi po natapos ksi matagal tlaga baka nga umabot 1day kasi ext. ko sya tapos marami pang files.. so far nabalik naman sa dati..kaya lang ung ibang files ko corrupted pero konti lang nmn ksi d ko natapos buti nalang ndi dun sa impo files ko.. salamat na lang boss..pero okay na.. chkdsk :/r ung ginamit ko, palitan lang ung c kung anong drive ung aayosin.. baka ung iba jan d pren magawan ng paraan..yan recommend ko sa knila.. pero props pren sau boss.. salamat! Godbless.
