Backgrounder:

After 6 years of romance with this machine i finally decided to upgrade her RAM.
From 2GB on slot 1 of 2, i want to upgrade to 8GB max. (2x4GB) mostly for Virtual Machine purposes.
Hindi ko alam kung ano, saan, magkano ang bibilihin...and other workarounds.
May available budget na ako 5K.
I need your help mga ka-Symb.

Kindly post your advise here. TIA.

thanks taurexn, noted.

may clarification lang ako don sa Hardware Specifications and Configurations nito machine particularly dito sa:

...
Support DIMM Speed:
800/1066 MHz

Support DIMM voltage:
1.5V

Support DIMM package:
204-pin DDR III-800/1066 SO-DIMM

...

1.5 V is maximum voltage so kaya ng laptop mo i-handle yun so-dimm na with 1.5 V or lower....

thanks again for taking time to reply.

so ngaun sabi mo ok lang kahit 1.35V ang mabili ko (just in case)?

mas mahal yun 1.35v over standard 1.5v ram modules kasi it consumes less power>>> less heat... mostly preferred yan low voltage ram sa mga gaming laptop in terms of overclocking (timings)
