If you are developing on Windows and would like to connect an
Android-powered device to test your applications,
then you need to install the appropriate USB driver.
This document provides links to the web sites for several original equipment manufacturers (OEMs),
where you can download the appropriate USB driver for your device. However, this list is not exhaustive for all available Android-powered devices.

If you're developing on Mac OS X or Linux, then you probably don't need to install a USB driver.
To start developing with your device, read Using Hardware Devices.

Note: If your device is one of the Android Developer Phones (ADP), a Nexus One,
or a Nexus S, then you need the Google USB Driver, instead of an OEM driver. The Galaxy Nexus driver,
however, is distributed by Samsung (listed as model SCH-I515).[/SUB]



Installing a USB Driver

First, find the appropriate driver for your device from the OEM drivers table below.

Once you've downloaded your USB driver, follow the instructions below to install or upgrade the driver, based on your version of Windows and whether you're installing for the first time or upgrading an existing driver.

Tip: When you finish the USB driver installation,
see Using Hardware Devices for other important information about using an Android-powered device for development.

Caution: You may make changes to android_winusb.inf file found inside usb_driver\ (for example,
to add support for other devices), however,
this will lead to security warnings when you install or upgrade the driver.
Making any other changes to the driver files may break the installation process.

ADB, Fastboot and device Drivers[/SUB]

What is this?
This is All-in-One installer for 3 most needed PC tools for Android.
No need to download big SDK for 3 small things.
I originaly made it for my Kurdish friend AnGrY DuDe in early 2013.
I saw another ADB installer on XDA, but it wasn't good enough for me so i'm finaly posting it here.
It's very small and fast installer for tools and drivers.


Install process:
1. Run it (Require administrator privileges)
2. Press ENTER (or any other key) to start installation
3. Installing ADB and Fastboot
4. Continue Driver installation
5. 15 seconds passed - finished!

Notes:
ADB and Fastboot are installed to WINDOWS directory - CMD can use it from any directory.
Drivers are installed to system - no need to install them from directories.
Installer automaticly decides if install 32-bit or 64-bit drivers.

Were happy to release my Universal Naked Driver.
This is to allow ADB, Fastboot & APX interfaces to work without installing any package
much less multiples packages for users with multiple devices.
Yes you can just install them and uninstall right away but why bother?

I was annoyed that I couldnt use my Transformer Prime and
Galaxy Nexus without having versions and packages trip over each other.
My previous post for the Sensation & Galaxy
Nexus was helpful so I thought I would bring to XDA the newest Android driver
available from source (which they call 4.0) and make it start talking.

Warning: Uninstall any previous driver package's you may have installed and also
manually remove drivers by attaching your phone and going to
Windows device manager and right click the entry for your phone and select "Uninstall"
on the next prompt make sure to select "Delete the driver software for this device
" then hit OK and reboot before installing these drivers

Windows 8 Instructions

How to Disable Driver Signature Enforcement in Windows 8:

From the Metro Start Screen, open Settings (move your mouse to the bottom-right-corner of the screen and wait for the pop-out bar to appear, then click the Gear icon).
Click ‘More PC Settings’.
Click ‘General’.
Scroll down, and click ‘Restart now’ under ‘Advanced startup’.
Wait a bit.
Click ‘Troubleshoot’.
Click ‘Advanced Options’
Click ‘Windows Startup Settings’
Click Restart.

GUIDE_How To Update to Official Firmware[All Samsung Device]

About this Guide:
In this guide you will learn how to Update your phone to the latest stock firmware available for your device for your region/country with Kies.
• You will make your device status from Un-official To Official.
• Your device will get Un-Rooted and all the changes you have made by rooting the device will be fixed .
• If you have flashed wrong stock ROM or of other Region/Country this will fix it.
• Fix software problems you face

Note:
• If you have Bricked your device or your device is Not booting Up This thread is Not for you.
• For those who face Software problems are requested to try resetting your Phone to check if it fixes by it Before trying this.

Go to Settings--> Back up and reset --> Factory Data Reset

Things you need:
• A computer with Kies installed.
• Internet Connection.
• USB Cable.
• A working Brain .
• Of-course the device to be updated.


Note:
For Example I will be using My Device - Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini "GT-I8190N"

Step 1:
•Open Kies
• Go to Tools
• Firmware Upgrade and Instantiation

Step 2:
• Enter Your Phone Model Number
Go to Settings --> About Phone, Find Your Model Number
Note: You Should Enter As it is in Settings i.e, "GT-I8190N"

Step 3:
Now Enter your device Serial Number

Note: Go to Settings--> Status--> Find Serial Number.

Step 4:
• Click "OK" to the Dialogue boxes

Step 4:
• Check "I have read all of the above Information."
• Connect your device
• Select "Proceed without saving"
• Then Click "Start Upgrade"

It will now download and flash the Firmware to Your Device

Step 4:
• Your device will Reboot and Install the firmware.
• Reboot and You're Done!
