hindi pa, pero palagay ko, stable na yan, i hav'nt tried it yet.

Sir, tanung ko lang po ginya ung instruction nyo sa pag update ng filmware, kaso missing file palagi ang lumabasa parang missing file digi.. something parang ganun.. hmm bakit kaya? wala bang easy way ng pag palit ng font? kong di ako nagkakamali isasabay mo sya sa pag update ng phone mo tama ba?

anong FIRMWARE po ang ginamit nyo pagfa-flash sa phoenix?

pag nagupdate kapo at hindi mo ginalaw ang .ppm file, it is flashing or updating only,
pero pag nagFlash ka na inedit mo ang .ppm file, ang tawag na dyan ay CUSTOMIZED FIRMWARE,
kagaya napo ng pagpapalit ng fonts, welcome & shutdown image and etc..

.ppm file = matatagpuan po ito sa FIRMWARE PACKAGE o yung version na dinownload mo ; Matatagpuan din ito sa RM-614 FOLDER na nasa path na ito C:\Program Files\Nokia\Phoenix\Products\

* Updating Firmware to the latest version *
( Nokia C3-00 Official Philippine Firmware Version 8.63 )​

STEPS:

* Make proper backup first *
* Kung galing abroad ang C3 nyo, may chance na magiba ang Keypad symbols nyo, better check your Country variant first before doing this *



1. Download your FIRMWARE HERE!


2. Extract/Unzip it and put the RM-614 folder (containing the flash files) on this path C:\Program Files\Nokia\Phoenix\Products\ (syempre delete nyo na yung luma)


3. Its okay if you have Nokia PC Suite, Nokia Ovi Suite, Nokia Software Updater, Nokia Modem Drivers, Nokia Connectivity Drivers and all other Nokia stuff installed from your system. (sakin naman working fine kahit meron nyan). Just turn off your Automatic Updates on your PC's Control panel.


4. Download Phoenix Software and Install it. (Dont run it yet)


5. Connect C3 to PC via micro-usb cable. Windows will start installing the connectivity drivers as soon as you connect the phone. Let it install completely.
"USB mode" prompt will appear, select "Nokia Ovi Suite" .


6. Now Open/run Phoenix, make sure it will read your phone's USB connection and select "USB# - RM-614" so it will look like this:

7. Click File > Scan Product

then it will look like this...

8. Click Flashing > Firmware Update

then it will look like this...

9. At image above click the three dots enclosed with icon box (the one colored Light Blue) , then a pop up will appear....

like the above image unCheck "Detect Product Automatically" and click OK.​

10. Finally click Refurbish

If errors occurs like: "failed to set phone to flash mode" , hung up in "Initializing", "Product flashing aborted" or unexpected exit of Phoenix, just exit Phoenix, and remove the battery and usb connector. Reinsert the battery and open your phone. Then go back and start at STEP 5 again.​

11. Phone will turn off. Then a countdown will start from 25, 24 . . .

12. If you see a prompt like this just click OK.

13. Firmware updating succeeded. And yes your phone will remain OFF , and if you turn it on, it says: "test mode" dont panic its normal just remove the battery and usb connector. Reinsert the battery and open your phone.



14. Check your phone's Firmware by typing *#0000# . . .



15. Done. Enjoy your freshly cooked C3 v.8.63 Firmware. Reset to refresh the system by typing *#7370# (enter 12345). You may now restore backup.

pwedeng pwede ka po magflash kahit anu network mu..
and about dun sa dagdag features na sinasabi mo, dipende po sa gagawin mung pag flash..
iba-iba po kasi yan:

- update mu version nang C3 mu..
- it will fix some bugs [a.i.: v8.63 ang official sa ngaun]..
* Hacking [No need to flash]
- pwede ka na magminimize nang apps mo..
* Editing .ppm file
- personalized icons, fonts, splashscreens, etc.
