INSTRUCTION:

Assuming that your phone is already ROOTED, DOWNLOAD and INSTALL Mobile Uncle Tool either from playstore or the one that is posted above (this one needs to be updated first before using).

Download recovery.img (the link is posted above). It must be stored on the root directory of your SDCARD or PHONE MEMORY (don't put it on any folder).

Disable/Turn Off your WIFI or PACKET DATA.

Open Mobile Uncle Tool and select Recovery Update.

Select recovery.img (The one that is below the word Recovery file in SDCard)

It will ask you if you are sure to flash recovery. Select OK.

If all goes well, you will be rebooted to your CWM Recovery.

On your CWM Recovery select REBOOT SYSTEM if you wanted to go back to normal Android System.



I don't own any of the files posted herein like the rooting procedure and the CWM recovery.img thus, credits should be given to the owner of the files and not me =)

sir core.. nasunod ko naman lahat ng steps.. bakit po stock recovery parin lumabas after rebooting.. baka may alam kang solution dito.. rooted na po ang phone ko.. yung pangalawang link lang ang nadedetect na recovery img.. thanks

ayun nakapagpalit din ng rom haha.. nabootloop ako dahil sa pagrestore ng font ko wala pa naman din backup haha, may titanium backup nga pero nasa pc ko naman sa office di ko nakopya haha, back to the start tuloy muna sa monday ko pa makukuha titanium backup ko.. naka-yonip v6 ako, so far so good naman, ano pa bugless na rom?

Yonip v6 users!!

May naeexperience akong error sa stock camera app. Minsan kapag kumukuha ng picture, ang nassave sa gallery ay parang corrupt na file. "No Thumbnail" kung titignan. Not sure sa ibang cam apps. Masfrequent din siya habang tumatagal na naka-camera app ka. Never nangyari sa v4 or v5 ito eh.

di ko na kasi ma-update sa 1st page kasi naaupdate din ung mga games, mas maganda tumingin sa android games section ng symb

i read that you can use an external sd card as the phone storage if the phone is rooted.

questions:
1. if the sd card gets corrupted or i remove the card, will i still be able to use the phone? if yes, that's good. if not, how to fix it?
2. and is it still possible to connect as usb storage to a computer through this setup?

is a class 6 32gb card good enough to use? it's kinda hard to find a class 10 sd card. i want to install large game sizes on the phone, which isn't possible given that only 1-point-something gig is only available.

so far, the phone is great. no major issues with it, just some occasional lags

2. yes if you have files in your phone storage

po dito ts..malaking tulong to para sa aming 919i user,, tanung ko lang po ts.. pagna install na po ung Framaroot 1.6.0 apk.. root na po ba yung 919i? then para saan po yung cwm recovery? need ko p po bang iinstall yun kahit rooted n ang phone?..pasenxa na po mahina po kasi ako sa mga ganinto .. slow nga kung tawagin..again thanks po..
