Re: NBA 2009- 2010 Season

good news sa hater ng lakers..they fall 3 games in a row..i hope mgtuloy tuloy ang talo nila..hehe

yah, but i don't think the cavaliers are going to be like that.. they just want to prove they can still give james the chance to be in a championship contender team and probably will sign with them.

cavaliers' management knows that james will probably sign to other teams that's why they are maximizing their effort for possible championship showdown this year.. the way i see it its not like in Lakers situation because the lakers already signed Gasol, Odom and Artest until the next 3-years so Kobe has chance.. and i can see the lakers will sign a legitimate point guard probably Kirk Hinrich next season so they can retain and sign Kobe again.

Kuhang kuha mo bro.

what about barnes? do you think hindi rin un dirty? iniinis nia si kobe para mawala concentration.. ok, good news nga sa mga haters, hehe, pero ang bad is that its the first time 3-lossing streaks since acquiring gasol.. compared to other teams, naku marami silang 3 losing streaks.. hehe

:lmao:

Re: NBA 2009- 2010 Season

Bakit si Ariza? question lang yan ah

:peace:

What about Trevor? Sign and trade ang ginawa ng Lakers kasi they needed to address their problem about having a legit perimeter defender. In short, Mitch Kupchak (GM - Lakers) ang nagdecide NOT Trevor Ariza. Gets?

True. Hindi important kahit Top Seed ka pa ng Conference nyo (although malaking tulong if you have the home court advantage syempre).

Si Kobe, SCORER sya by nature. He's a scorer and they are glad daw that he is because they need him daw na maging aggresive -- kasi it sets that tone for them.

If concern nyo ung Field Goal Attempts nya, check nyo site ng NBA.

Re: NBA 2009- 2010 Season

@herbz i disagree wat u said..hindi nmn ganyan si kobe nung nandyan pa c oneal,we all know kobe only play for stats xempre para sumikat pa xa ng husto..

napinsin ko din nung tae pa ang team nila he request for a trade..pero nung nandyan na c gasol hindi nya pinapahawak ng bola dahil alam nya gasol can manage the team w/out him..gus2 nya xa lgeh bida ng change pa xa ng style of play..low pose 2 convince jackson na xa parin mas magaling pgdating sa ilalim kaya c gasol nakaka puntos lng tru off rebounds..

Re: NBA 2009- 2010 Season

@ dyan2

Hehe, ganito kasi yan bro. Ilang taon ba si Kobe nung nandyan si Shaq? Even si Shaq, ano ba gusto nya before? Maging main point ng triangle offense, MORE touches sa post, etc. Ganun talaga mostly ng mga medyo batang players, gusto i-establish ang sarili nila as one of the best in the business.

If naaalala mo ang first lose nila against sa Indiana Pacers this season, may go signal sya from Phil (Jackson) to take the game-winning shot. Pero ano ginawa nya? He made the right play.
And ask yourself, nung latest olympics, ano ginawa ni Kobe? Maging leading scorer ng U.S.? A big N-O, NO. Mas pinili pa nya maging defensive stopper against sa best perimeter player ng ibang team, dahil it will give them a better chance of winning rather than ball-hogging and leading the team in points. Ganun ba ang pa-bida at buwaya? Hehe hindi diba. :peace:

Re: NBA 2009- 2010 Season

wow... may point kayong dalawa... but i really agree with herbz, even am not a fan Kobe, (hate ko pa nga xa dahil hirap nilang talunin dahil sa kanya...).

nice idea the both of you...

there is no reliable player (in offense) in lakers except kobe and gasol.. but in closing and clutch time, only Kobe is reliable.. fisher is effective in playoffs esp. during finals game that's why the lakers still prefer him in the starting PG.

if are an NBA Coach and it its below 10sec in the 4th qtr, the game is either tied or close but making a shot will either make the team to reach OT or to win and it happens that in your roster, kobe was there.. considering all the current active players in NBA, who the hell will you set up for the last shot? if your answer is not Kobe Bryant then you might lose..

just looked on how many times (this season) kobe made clutch play.. its numerous and even expected in every kobe and lakers fans that he will make shots like that.. just imagine, if he made that shot, nothing is new or jubilation is not that big compared to other players.. if that shot was made by james, it is in headlines in all media outlets but if its kobe, there is nothing to be surprised of..

please be considerate that making shot in closing seconds is very hard.. not every NBA players can repeat such players esp if that player is doing such thing for how many times.

count how many dwayne wade, lebron, melo made a crucial shots this season and give that stats to me so we can compared it to kobe..

Re: NBA 2009- 2010 Season

nalo LAKERS daming clutch shot ni KOBE this season,
kaso nakakatakot kase ang win nila madalas close game :weep:

Re: NBA 2009- 2010 Season

Quick Update! Nanalo Lakers dahil kay Lapo Elkann! Ahehe...joke lang!

As for the Kobe being a ballhog, he is a self-confessed scorer. Of course, if you're a scorer, you will always have the ball at the end of each play because you are the one who is capable of being able to put up points easily for your team. That's what Kobe is.

As for Kobe's clutchness, I've found two articles that says, throughout his career, Kobe was never an efficient clutch shot maker but is a Sports Center clutch shot maker  But I understand why Kobe always has the ball at the end of games, although he misses a lot of them, is becuase is such a dynamic scorer. He can get anywhere and anything he wants, hands in his face and still be able to throw up the ball. I know Kobe fans will have a civil-war-like reaction to this, but the thing is, they don't show Kobe's misses on Sports Center or on YouTube or on NBA Highlights. And that's why the media is always going crazy, foaming at the mouth, whenever LBJ hits a game winner.

P.S.: An underrated clutch performer --- Steve Nash.

Pero if you REALLY THINK ABOUT IT bro, ang hinahanap lang ni Kobe are CAPABLE TEAMMATES.

i agree with you.... good analyses from a man watching NBA game.

Hehe, :thanks: sa appreciation.

For me pare, ok naman ang first five ng Lakers (pati 6th man nila na si Lamar Odom -- although I really wish na mas aggressive pa sya. Pero we can't force him. Hindi sya scorer by nature.
Tama ka pare, ok sila pero when it comes to clutch situations, Kobe and D-Fish ang reliable. No hesitation sila tumira, kaya nila shoulder ang consequences afterwards. They can take the glory or criticism without fear. And that's what great players are - either they make or they break.

In recent years kasi, medyo nagiging ok na si King James late in games eh. Di gaya nung earlier years nya na kabado tumira ng last shot. There was a game pa nga na instead of driving to the basket, kick out nya kay Z para sa tres eh 1 point lang naman lamang ng kalaban. Ayun, talo tuloy. PERO NOON YUN. He's gotten better in closing out games
Pag alam niya need ng team ng score, gagamitin nya assets nya - Speed and Power. I love it when he drives hard to basket. Score or get fouled, makes sense di ba? ;)

Either he draws a double/triple team and kicks out to open teammates (mostly pero mintis mga kasama nya :lmao:), or he attempts to score and get fouled.

+1 ako about kay Nash. Kahit tres, kakana yan in late game situations :salute: Lufet tol!
He knows the right time to score, a TRUE POINT GUARD indeed :salute:

About sa Sports Center not showing Kobe's misses, same lang with King James. Kaya nga highlight eh. Alangan i-headline mo mintis na game-losing shot? :peace:

I'm NOT saying laos sya ha? I give respect to where credit is due, he's one of the best (if not THE BEST) player in the NBA today. Pero hindi ganun kadami game-winning shots nya (since game winning shots ang current topic natin now hehe).

In Kobe's defense, rant tayo :ranting: hehehe

Pero seriously, Kobe being called as an inefficient clutch shot maker would be absurd.

#1 You will not be feared and regarded as one of the game's best "closers" if you are inefficient. RESPECT ISN'T EARNED OVERNIGHT you know.

#2 It comes along with the territory. Miss or make, win or go home, that's just how it is. As I've said before, great players ARE NOT AFRAID to take THE big shot. They can shoulder the blame if they miss and cause their team to lose. Yes, Kobe missed a lot throughout his career. But he certainly made a lot too. And compared to other CURRENT nba all star quality players today, tingin ko sya ang pinaka-marami game-winning shots.
