NEC i7 problem...

if its an old generation i7, that would give you a 50-50 chance of success & failure... most likely older gen corei7 has higher thermal design power (it gives a lot of heat) coupled with standard laptop blower will particularly ended up frying the smd components in the laptop motherboard.... i rather recommend to seek help from highly technical person rather than adding more damage to laptop
