bosing, tanong ko lng.. pra sa inyo po anu mas maganda pra sa iphone 3GS, ung 3.1.3 o ung 4.0.1?salamat..:noidea:

hi there everybody...don't know where to post this since dami ng thread about iphone..sana lang po may makatulong...here goes...i do have an iphone 3gs...jailbreaked using blackrain...mine is version 3.1.2 (7D11)...16 gb...now, i would like to upgrade to latest version which i think is os4 (or much later).. paano po ba ang gagawin ko...please help me thru a step by step since non techie po ako...salamat po ng marami...meron sya like the screenshot you've provided regarding SHSHs...thanks

wat po version ng redsnow dpt ko po idlod para po sa iphone 2G
ung my boot loader po., kc po ung mga nddlod ko e, walng boot loader na option...

ngdlod po ako ng redsnow 0.9.2 kya lang gnun din tska wala rin pong option na unlock dun sa iche2ck.

kaya tingn ko po iba po un., phinge nmn po ng link or pa upload nmn po para mdlod ko po un.
pang bkup lang sakali mgka prob iphone ko. :thanks:

First

Download ka ng firmware ng iPhone mo dito na 4.0.1 http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/

Second

Kailangan mong i edit muna yung host file ng PC mo.

Use this guide.

Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\ and locate “hosts” file.

Open this “hosts” file in Notepad (for Windows) and add this

74.208.105.171 gs.apple.com or 74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com

line as shown in the screenshot below:

Now simply save this file and you are good to go!

NOTE for Windows 7 and Vista: Start “Notepad” with Administrator privileges by right clicking on “Notepad” app, and click on “Run as Administrator“ option.

Third

Connect your ipod to itunes and Enter your iPhone into DFU mode

How to enter DFU mode

* Plug your iPhone into your PC/Mac and launch iTunes.
* Turn off your iPhone.
* Press the home and power button for 10 seconds then release the power button while still holding the home button.
* You should see the "iTunes has detected a phone in recovery mode." message and the iPhone screen is totally black. If you see a USB logo, that is recovery mode, NOT DFU mode.

Hold shift + click restore and select your 4.0.1 firmware

4.0.1 para sa akin kung 3GS ang iPhone mo.

Meron yun!

Baka iphone 3G firmware or ipod touch firmware ang ginagamit mo kaya walang unlock na options.

Pang iphone 2g firmware ang gamitin mo.

Madami nang gumamit nung procedure na yun at wala namang nag reklamo na walang unlock options.
