need help sa OBD ng toyota vios 2011

Mga bossing, baka may alam kayo na OBD scanner na compatible sa vios 2011 1.3E or may nakapagtry at napagana OBD scanner kagaya sa nabibili sa lazada... Balak ko sana bumili ng scanner kaya lang di ko alam kung OBD 2 compliant tong kotse. Pwede sana yung Mini VCI connector at Toyota Techstream, problema wala akong laptop. Attached po yung pic ng OBD port ko. Salamat po sa tutulong.

Usually vehicles sold after 1996 and those with connectors such as yours are OBD2 already. Sometimes the nameplate under the hood will indicate if it's obd2.

Thanks boss, kaya lang dyan ako nalilito for US made cars yes implemented na nila obd2 jan 1996 then sa EU jan. 2004, sa AU jan. 2006 etc... Dito pinas jan. 2016 and up lang ang sure na obd2 compliant na. pero yung ibang car manufacturer daw naglagay ng obd2 kahit di pa implimented dito. Wala naman sticker sa hood na obd 2 ready. Di po ba delikado kung maling scanner masaksak ko?

I'm not sure if it anything bad will happen if you plug in the wrong scanner but I THINK it shouldn't but If you want try to search online for more infos about your car. There are also OBD2 Scan tool that uses Bluetooth connection so you don't need a laptop. You can also try calling the service department of the nearest Toyota dealership and inquire if your vehicle is already OBD2 or not.

Thank you sir, sana nga OBD 2 na to. Nag search na ko sa online konti lang info tungkol sa gen 2 vios about sa obd, kaya nagtry na ko mag tanong dito And yes meron na ko Torque pro installed sa phone and tablet ko para sa scanner, siguro nga tawag nalang ako sa toyota dealership dito samin pero duda ako kung ibibigay nila info sigurado sabihin nila dalhin nalang dun para scan nila 1k plus din pa scan sa kanila. Anyway maraming salamat ulit sir sa tulong kung sakali makabili na ko ng scanner balik nalang ako dito.

Bumili ako ng OBDII sa Lazada, yung kulay blue para sa Vios 2006, gumana naman. So kung Vios 2011 ang sayo, malamang gagana yan.

Bumili din ako ng OBDII sa Lazada P800.00 only, kulay blue para sa Vios E 2004 ko, may licensed android TORQUE app pa kasama na.

Ang Vios, no temperature gauge, mag display daw ng red light sa panel pag mag overheat, kaya very useful sa akin whenever I drive specially long distance dahil I can monitor my engine temperature real-time using my Note 8 phone in numerical values. Cruising temperature range is 85-87 celsius. Pag ma traffic, aabot ng 95 celsius, water boiling point is 100 celsius.

I have already experience engine overheating of my Nissan Sentra III (1996) before and it really cost me money kaya sa Vios ko, nag constant monitor/check-up na ako sa makina.

The TORQUE app na kasama sa OBDII can monitor/display all vital information of your engine as it runs in real-time.

Salamat sa mga info mga sir. Di pa dumadating yung order kong scanner from amazon pero gamit ko ngayon itong Toyota Techstream sa old laptop ko so far ayos naman takbo ng makina at nasa normal running conditions lahat.

Sir, sa driver side katabi lang ng hood release latch kapain mo lang sa ilalim.

OBDII galing Lazada plus Torque up will be just fine sa Vios gen 2..
Yan gamit ko..
Very useful sya lalo sa long trip since walang temerature monitor ang Gen 2 vios..
