New satellite broadband service to launch in December 2014

This mean faster and reliable internet... but what will be the price??

iGSat Broadband will deliver reliable, high-speed, always-on Internet access without depending on availability of terrestrial networks. The network connects entirely via satellite. Whether in the city or the depths of the countryside, users will be able to enjoy a broadband connection wherever they are.

naku boss...hinala ko dyan eh mataas din ang singil ng monthly nyan...sabi nga eh ONLY IN THE PHILIPPINES hehehehehe

the philippines in general doesn't do the "more bang for the buck thing" mas lalo na sa connectivity... mahal singil ng mga ISP kumpara sa ibang bansa dito sa south east asia... tapos dipa totally meshed ang networks with updated protocols... too much consumers suppposedly means more revenue which reciprocally means faster speeds on cheaper rates...

the satellite connection would definitely give a speed boost... i just hope makatarungan un charge...
