sa mga nagupdate ng firmware nila thr0ugh built-in Device Manager...magkan0 nagast0s niy0 sa l0ad?..ak0 P5 lang...hehe...

tol anu mangyayari pag mag update?? like may mabubura ba or what so ever?? anu yung madadagdag kung sakali tol?? pashare naman tol para mag update din ako kung sakali..

SIMPLE STEPS ON HOW TO UPDATE YOUR PHONE'S FIRMWARE

(& p0ssible in 0ther s60v3(FP2)/s60v5 units w/o WiFi..)..


in this case...Nokia C5...



1) y0ur ph0ne must have a 3/4 t0 fully charged battery...

2) l0ad up atleast P15-20...f0r insurance lang kaya dapat mga P15-20 ang l0ad...

3) make an access p0int setting...g0 t0 t0ols>settings>c0nnecti0n>destination>add access p0int...APN is http.globe.com.ph...n0 p0rt n0 ip..(if y0u have it already...ign0re this step)..

4) activate 3G/UMTS signal by g0ing t0 t0ols>settings>ph0ne>netw0rk>netw0rk m0de...

5) g0 t0 standby m0de & dial *#0000#...then press 0pti0n>check updates...

6) select the access p0int that y0u made w/ n0 p0rt n0 ip...

7) after checking the update...it will pr0mpt y0u t0 d0wnl0ad the file/firmware update...just click accept...the file will be appr0ximately 5mb+ (depending 0n the unit)...

8) after d0wnl0ading the file...it will ask y0u t0 start the update...just click yes & ph0ne will restart...

9) up0n restarting...it will start the update pr0cess...0nce the update is c0mplete...the ph0ne will restart again...


enj0y y0ur new ph0ne updated!..
