mga kapatid e2 daw ung procedure ng pag upgrade from n70 to n70ie
Step by Step Procedure:
Before you start, you must clearly understand that this process is considered quite risky. If you don’t follow the steps correctly, you might damage your phone severely.
1. Get NNS (Nemesis Service Suite Beta) from this websites NSS (Scroll to the bottom most and there’s a zip file sized around 4.75MB)

2. After finish download it, install the NSS into your computer. During installation, you would be prompt to choose the service which you want to used. In this case, choose Virtual USB Devices
3. Then finish the installation, and now download the Nokia Sofware Updater from the Nokia Official Websites. Nokia Software Updater Choose your model which is N70.
4. After finish download, install the Updater as well.
5. Connect your phone to your PC. In this case makes sure you had your PC-Suite installed. Makes sure your cable connection is stable and don’t touch your cable anymore unless instructed. Cable that you can use are : CA-51 which originally bundled in N70 package, or you DKU2 which tend to be more stable.
6. After your phone is connected to your pc, starts the NSS. You can see theres a discovery icon at right top corner there. Click it to let NSS detect device information. After those information generated, click on phone info (which is the second icon from left). Key in the product code and check the enable checkbox. The product key varies depends on what kind of firmware you wish to update.
7. After entered your product code, click write and wait it updates complete, then click on read button to verify your product code again.
* Some people having problem to verify the product code by click on the read button. Don’t worry, you can verify it by click on the FLASH button, then click on the scan button at the very next tab. It can reveal your new product code too.
8. Follow the instructions given inside the NSU closely and do not touch the cable until whole update process is completed.
9. After finish the update, your phone now is N70 Internet Edition or Compatible. You would notice theres three options fot network selection which is the Dual, GSM, and the newly added UMTS.
THIS CAN VOID YOUR WARRANTY (if u r not able to revert back to original pid again)…AND IT WILL BE UR OWN RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY KIND OF RISK INVOLVED WHEN U PERFORM THIS CARELESSLY OTHERWISE IT WILL BE COMPLETED SUCCESSFULLY..

mga bro tried and tested na daw to sa kabila and working nga daw pero hindi ko ma try kc hindi kaya ng pc ko ung NSU kc low end ang pc ko.. kya phoenix lang gamit ko pero ayus pa din kc umts network mode ko.. sandali lang mag write ng umts sa n70 using phoenix.. e2 screenshot ko..

Uu bro mas mabilis pag umts mode... Kc hndi magshishift ang 3g signal mo s gsm kahit pah mas malakas ang gsm signal.. D gaya s dual n kpag mas malakas ang gsm eh nagshishift sya gsm at nwawala ang 3g moh... Kaya tuloy nawawala ang stability ng download speed moh.. Pag nka 3g mode k bro wlang humpay ang pagdownload mu at ambilis pah.. Umaabot sken ng 60kbps max s n70 q and average is 40kbps above...

Risky din ata bro pag hndi mu sinundan ng tama ung instruction.. Pero wlang risk pag gamitan mu nlng ng phoenix para i lock 3g ng n70 mo kc within 1min 3g lock kna.. Pero sabi nung mga nkpag try n mag upgrade eh madali lng dw and it will only take u 10mins or less...

E2 bro download mu lng ung phoenix http://rapidshare.com/files/179193407/Phoenix_2008_44_5_v2.exe taz install mu s cp mu.. Pag ok nah,.. Connect mu ung n70 mu using cable s pc taz manage mu nlng ung connection nila s phoenix.. Connect through usb ang piliin mu s phoenix suite taz pag connected n sila click system mode>wcdma>write ... Pag click mo ng write n option s phoenix magrerestart bigla ung n70 mu at nka 3g kna.. Mkikita mu s network setting mu n nka set k s umts pero dual mode at gsm lng nman ang pagpipilian mu, pero nka set k s umts.. Medyo weird.. Note: pag nagpalit k ng network mode mwwala n ang umts moh or pag mag format k. Kya parang temporary lng sya and hindi sya permanet but still nka 3g lock kna..

uu bro install pala sa pc.. hehehe nsa skul kc ako kanina kya hindi ko na napansin type ko.. dun din ako nagdownload bro eh sa link na yan and malaki talaga size nyan kaya tyagaan lang.. ahm kung side effects sa phone is wala aman, parang ganun pa rin pero lock lang sya 3g. ang meron lang is disadvantage which is pag naka 3g ka ay mas malakas sya mag consume ng battery compared sa gsm... ahm lock nga sya sa 3g/umts pero dapat hindi ka dapat magpapalit ng network mode kc mawawala ang umts nya so tama ka, uulitin nga ulet ung procedure pag pinalitan mo ung umts sa network mode mo kaya kung gusto mo ng permanent umts mode at lalabas sa network selection mo, suggest ko ung pag upgrade ng firmware to N70ie kc andun na talaga sya kahit mag format kapa

thanks tol! ano ba yung full name nung application try ko na lang isearch baka may makita akong ibang link, hassle kasi kapag nagda download ako sa rapidshare, nagpprompt na you're already downloading a file kahit wala pakong dinadownload. mukang risky kasi yung pag upgrade sa n70ie kaya ayaw ko itry saka dead na yung mga links ng kailangan na software para makapag upgrade. thanks uli

ang weird nga pala talaga kasi dual mode at gsm lang options mo pero umts ang status mo astig, nag try na din ako mag download hindi naman sya napuputol, ayos to. salamat uli tol, laki ng naitulong nito sakin, sayang hindi ako pwede bumoto ng repute mo kaya
