The Nvidia Tegra Note 7 was released in November 2013 and takes its place in the mid-range tablet market. The Tegra Note has a 7” IPS display with 1280 x 800 (217 ppi) resolution. The 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory can be supplemented with a microSDXC card giving up to 64 GB of additional storage. The Tegra Note 7 has a 5 MP rear facing camera and a 0.3 MP front facing camera and the Note 7 marks the entry of the Camera Awesome software to the Android ecosystem. A 1.8 GHz quad core Tegra 4 chipset that is optimized for graphics performance powers the Tegra Note 7 and it ships with Android 4.2.2. The other unique feature of the Tegra Note 7 is the dynamic stylus, which provides the features of an active stylus, similar to the S pen, with out requiring additional digitizers in the display.


How to root your nvidia TN7

Warning use at your own risk. I have tested this on my own EVGA Nvidia Tegra Note 7 on android 4.4.2 and it works great.
I HAVE BEEN TOLD BY SOME THIS DOESN'T WORK ON THE ADVENT VEGA NOTE 7 BUT OTHER SAY IT DOES WORK, SO USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

1. adb and fastboot driver install
2. unlock bootloader
3. Restore / unbrick device
4. Flash stock android recovery
5. install ClockWorkMod recovery Bat version
6. Install TeamWin / TWRP recovery
7. Root access in recovery with supersu

this is a pretty easy to use tool just read & follow the steps and it will walk you right through. Hope this is helpful to some noobs out there that dont know how to use android SDK.

You won't need to unlock the bootloader. You can just simply use Kingroot (kingroot.net) and then install it on your nvidia tegra note 7. and within just a few moments your tn7 will be rooted with the bootloader still locked. safe for warranty purposes.

guys patulong nakapag flash ako ng mali rom sa cherry mobile tn7 ko galing sa nvidia ung no gms nung mag rerestart na ayaw na mag bukas ng tn7 ko hard brick po ba to pero pag sinasaksak ko po sa pc tumutunog pa ung usb detection tapos sa device manager nakalagay ung apx na need ng driver pag ginagamit ko ung tn7 tools or super tools waiting for the device. wala pa to 1 yr kaso alam ko void ung waranty kasi may crack sa vessel and open ang boot loader tanong ko lang po kung kaya pa unbrick to since na dedetect ng pc ung usb as apx ? tnks

Hardbrick/Apx mode yan..wala pang Apx images available online ang Cherry Mobile TN7 (P1988W or TN7CW)..service center na talaga yan para maayos..
