For a "website" in general it could ranges from 0 to several thousands. Depende yan TS sa requirements mo at sa mga iba pang napakaraming bagay. If you require a .net, .com or .edu na domain, then gagastos ka na talaga dun. Although may mga free web hosting services naman na available na pwede mo magamit with your domain name, medyo hindi nga lang sila reliable. Some free web hosting service would even close your account without prior notice if your website don't get any visitor for, say 30 days or so.
For a reliable domain and web hosting service you would spend around P5,000 to P10,000 depende sa domain at sa hosting plan mo. The price also varies between different registrars (e.g. GoDaddy, Namecheap, Bluehost, Hostgator, Hostmonster, etc.). Then may mga frameworks, plugins, APIs,etc. na maaring kailanganin mo - majority ng mga yan ay free and opensource pero meron din may bayad.
Then yung fee sa developer mismo magkakaiba din yun. I don't know about the P6,000 being the "standard." Most freelancers that I know ranges from 16K to 50K depende sa klase ng website na gagawin and that price is for basic to small-scale ecommerce. Full scale-ecommerce naman will go from 60K to 100K+ sa mga freelancers. If you hire naman an actual development firm to create your website, say sa Makati, there a website can start from 60K to 120K. How do I know? Because I used to work in one of them.
Bottom line is, know your requirements. Write them down, every details. And then ask a professional for a consultation so they can give you an estimate of kung magkano magagastos mo. They might also tell you how long would it take to finish the project. You can't just ask a very vague question and expect a very precise answer - especially if you're talking to a developer.

Nagmamaintain ako ng isang school website.. Para makatipid o malibre mo Better gamit ka ng cms(wordpress/joomla) actualy madali lang sya,gagawin mo lng drag and drop.. Cguro enough na yung 1 week na manuod ka lang ng tutorial sa youtube d mo naman kailangan na matinding skill sa programming.. Better ko sa .edu domain malaking yung benifits like ngaun sa online class free yung gsuite education need mo lang ng .edu na domain..
