Pekeng Kaibigan

May isang kaibigan,
Akala mo'y totoo,
Nagpapanggap lang,
At ika'y kinakatalo.

Ng aking malaman,
Labis akong nasaktan
Galit at kalungkutan
Aking naramdaman.

Masayang alaala
Naglahong bula
Tamis ng kahapon
Ngayoy pait ang napala.

Ang tangi kong dalangin
Sa taksil kong kaibigan
Sakit at pagdurusa.
Sanay iyong matikman.
