Been searching for GSM frequency in the Philippines, and up to now I’m still not sure which one it is. Anyway, here’s a table for your reference, I’ll be updating it if I get more information.​

Globe Telecom GSM Frequency Band - 900 MHz/1800 MHz (Dual Band)

3G Frequency Band W-CDMA (UMTS) - 850Mhz/2100 MHz
UMTS/3G 1900(uplink)/2100(downlink) (Dual Band)

4G LTE: 1800Mhz (Launch Date: September 2012 for 1800Mhz and May 2016 for 700Mhz)

Yung 4G network TS, including the LTE and LTE advanced. 2600MHz/2.6GHz yan. :yes:
 
sinu vendor ni globe sa transmission? ang baba ng bandwith nila sa 3g grabe.


edit: pag dating sa equipment mas advance si globe. pero technicaly speaking mas magaling si smart sa troubleshoot.

Ang bandwidth po ng 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G(kung magkakaroon) ay iisa lang po. Dumedepende po ang speed ng bawat band base sa frequency ng bawat isang mga "G" na yan. :yes:

Two likely reasons ng pagbagal ng wireless internet:
1. Intermittent signal.
2. May problema sa gateway nung ISP kung saan ka naka-connect.


Innove Telecommunications ata ang parent network ng Globe? :noidea:
 
alam ko yan isa lang ang bandwith ng mga yan. nakita ko din yan sa planning namin. nag wowork ako sa telecoms kaya may idea ako jan.
 
Update ko yung sa sun next week may nabalitaan kasi akong maglalaunch sila ng LTE ewan ko lang kung totoo imbestiga muna ako!! :dance:

Pero kasi ang alam ko kung bakit mabilis ang mga higher-G's eh dahil mas mataas ang frequency nila eh? For example, GPRS (1800MHz), HSDPA (2100MHz), LTE (2600MHz). :noidea:

Bali sa base stations at gateways kumukuha ng bandwidth yung mga 2G, 3G, 4G towers? :think:

Magfo-4G pa ang Sun? Baka nga iwan na ng Smart yan na nasa 3G network lang eh. :noidea:

Wala na akong nababalitaang network modernization program na ginagawa ang Sun mula nang nabili ng Smart eh? :think:

Dipende yan sa area kung anu naka prupose sa isang area. kunwari yung area congested na siyempre dapat yung 3g nian naka FE na.

yung frequency ng 3g nag shrink yan kun wari nasa 3km kasa pinaka malapit na serving site tapus yung dadaanan ng freq mu madaming subs congested kana nian.

ang frequency hindi pataasan yan ang 900 for example 2g yan yan yung ginagamit para sa sms at call pang malayuan.ang naka prupose sa ntc 850 nga eh peo hnd kaya ng transmission kaya 3g 2100 kc hnd xa pang long range.
