Mga ka symb, tanong lang po sana...

for beginner ano po kaya maganda pag aralan pag gusto pumasok sa web development?

for back-end PHP or python?

my experience naman po ako sa pag program..but still looking for language na sa tingin ko ay para sakin talaga at pag fofocusan ko ng panahon...
2nd year college po ako ngayon..ayaw ko po sana mag graduate na madaming alam na programming language but average ang knowledge...like what happen to our school...every sem = new language then end of sem gagawa ng project...which is i think not for me kasi gusto ko po sana mag focus sa isang language...

so i'm thinking of PHP or python...

baka po may tutorial din po kayo online na alam with strong foundation both language or other back-end web development language..

salamat po

try mo muna mag graduate ng IT. tapos maghanap k sa online ng job. dati gnyan din ako. nag focus kung anu trend during your time but as soon as I graduate naging obsolete na kasi meron simple at mdaling intindihin. mostly sa salary lang nagkakatalo pare pareho lang yan. pag nakahanap k n or napusoan mo ung company start learning. enjoy your student life while you can.

BTW PHP

but if you want a master skill during your college life. focus on web designing CSS at javascript esp. bootstrap. perfect it and everybody will hunt you down.

Python for me TS:

why:
- better coding style and clean than PHP
- worth it and madali lang din matutunan same like PHP
- Django a python framework mas magugustuhan mo
- malaki din ang community support
- instagram, google, youtube, pinterest builth on that language

salamat po sa tips nyo sir...i tried front-end before...sad to say pakiramdam ko wala akong talent sa pag dedesign hahaha...pero im still doing front end stuffs mahirap na kasi baka makalimutan hahaha maybe lack of inspiration about design siguro kaya yung mga nagagawa ko is not that good...but hindi naman po totally i mamaster...gusto ko lang po kasi na may makitang progress sa sarili ko...yung sa tingin ko magiging confident ako pag may tinanong sakin about 1 language...

i see..ayos din po pla python...kaso compare to other language parang malaki yung pagkaka iba ni python in terms of syntax...
wala ng semicolons, pati yung loop like for loop is iba compare sa ibang language hahaha...kaya nakakalito kasi i start coding in C# kasi yun yung unang tinuro sa school hehehe..

PHP = Job availability is soaring high.
Python = mahirap maghanap.

Know how to use both. The more languages you know, the more likely you're gonna get hired somewhere.

Good luck!

salamat sir..parang ganyan nga po mangyayari sakin hahaha...i think i go with PHP first even python is good for beginner(they said)...may background naman po ako sa ibang language na medyo may pagkaka pareho sa PHP...unlike python na medyo nakaka lito pag hindi bibigyan ng oras and practice...kasi syntax is different from other language...even readable but pag nasanay na sa language like PHP medyo nakaka miss yung semicolon

When I reply with quoted I can't upload photos.

C# is not comparable to Python. But C# and Java pwede

Kapag walang karibal ibig sabihin malaki sahod hehehe.

SUPPLY AND DEMAND

Kung gusto mo sa PHP muna magsimula then go for PHP then go to Python if ever hindi mo naman kailangan magaling agad just grasp the basic concepts then practice and practice how to code. Madali na lang makagrasp ng other programming language if you know the basics.

Goodluck!

python(django). hands down!:praise:.. pero kung tlgang need mo ng job asap.. javascript- from beginners to advance kaya mo yan in 1-3 months.. focus ka lang and practice.. wag ka na mag PHP.. maraming paraan para maging front end to back end developers ka.. once you have a good knowledge of javascript jan papasok ang mga opportunities.. you can know be a back end developer by using MONGODB, REACTJS OR ANGULARJS but i prefer reactjs and last NODEJS.. lahat po yan ay javascript.. wala kana aaralin pang ibang programming language.. and yung mga yan madaling maaral.. tsaka mas malaki ang job opportunity sa javascript.. mas in demand yan kesa php..

suggestion ko lang sir once alam mo na mga yan.. wag mo sayangin ang time mo to learn php, python and ruby.. learn high performance prog language like JAVA, C++, C# and GOLANG.. i suggest GOLANG(GO)..

tama yung teacher mo. HTML, CSS, Javascript. yang ang 3 foundations na kelangan mo malaman to start your web dev career. kung gusto mo gumaling sa javascript eh keep on practicing, eto check mo tong site www.practicaljavascript.net magaling magturo yan, free lang yang lesson nya.

dagdag mo nadin yung bootstrap, dahil widely used yan at responsive web design is a must na ngayon

Hahahaah kasi ang Javascript at PHP same syntax. Wag kang ma intimidate sa Python dahil sa syntax as long as you know the concepts larga yan. Don't tell me di ka gagamit ng Javascript as web developer? heheheh. Sa PHP at Javascript curly braces walakng paki sa spacing. Ang python indentation instead na curly braces.

learn HTML, CSS then after you have knowledge of that learn javascript.. just know the basic, i dont recommend you to master that.. then if you are comfortable learn REACTJS or Angular2 if you want learn them both add bootstrap to your learning.. thats all you need to be front end(Web design). someone will ask me what about the DOM and Jquery.. once you tackle the reactjs you will learn better than jquery.. and if you want to be a back end(web developer) learn nodejs it gives you a lot what you need for back end.. like express, mongodb, http req and res, OOP, RESTful etc.. go here for the documentation https://nodejs.org/dist/latest-v6.x/docs/api/ .. like what i said before javascript is the secret.. it doesnt matter what will be you path. if it will be web design or web developer. once you are in a real world of programming career you will learn them both..

if you want to be a full stack developer like me, learn them all.. its fun and way cooler than other but its more painful.. hahaha..

make a portfolio website, go to someone resto and make them a website if they dont have.. make it free just for your references..

btw im not a IT or COMSCI graduate..youtube is your bestfriend.. and i was hire last dec 2014.. dont stop learning it fun to learn new thing specially about your work.. technology grows really fast.. dont be left behind..
