since customizable ng GNU/Linux ikaw ang bahala kung gusto mo ng bare bones install mo si Arch Linux . Kung live distribution naman subukan mo ang DamnsmallLinux (50mb lang siya with user interface), puppy linux (200mb+), tiny core linux (meron 8mb), trisquel mini (based on ubuntu but blocks NON-FREE softwares = 100% Free and open source software debloated ang kernel so mabilis). debian (pwede ka naman base-system install or lxde core)

If you're looking for an eye candy and fastest linux distro, consider the following:

1) interface (CLI or GUI)
2) Window manager/desktop environment (e.g. flwm, dwm, jwm, lxde, xfce, etc...)
3) default apps

In my case, my answer is... MicroCore. If I'll use GUI, it's Puppy Linux.

Here's my X-Tahr XFCE (Puppy Linux derivative).

+1 Eskwela OS dahil light weight sya kasi ang desktop environment nya ay xfce. at support na rin natin sa author ng Eskewla OS
