4. it will ask you to login to port 26
5. close the current telnet window
6. go to cmd again but this time, type "telnet 192.168.1.1 26" without the quotes.
7. it will ask you once again for the login credentials
8. type root for the username and GEPON for the password.
9. type "vi fh/extend/web/js/wan_sfu.js"
10. navigate using the arrow keys and go to line 496 and press the letter i on your keyboard and you will see curWANmode == 2. change the number 2 to 5.
11. press the esc key.
12. type ":wq" without the quotes.
13. you can now change the wan type to internet and use bridge mode.

TS pwede ba gamitin ang wifi 2 ng router natin? Like kung 10mbps ang speed mo gawin mong 5mbps ang wifi 1 and 5mbps din ang wifi 2?

yes with third party router pa - so bibili ka ng router :D walang ganyang features si modem ng pldt - only priority lang like priority si device 1 for the internet access lol

Setup VPS and Open port/Port Forwarding sa modem ng PLDT Fibr

Note: Personal answer ko ito and based on the best of my knowledge hehe :D

First, lahat naman ng plan ng pldt fiber eh pwede ka makapag setup ng vps or open ports - just to remind you na maiwasan mo yung CGNAT or Carrier Grade NAT (CGN/CGNAT) - or in tagalog, hindi pareho yung IP Address na binibigay sayo ni modem (makikita mo yon on broadband settings sa fiberhome modem web page, ewan ko lang sa ibang brand ng modem for pldt fibr) at yung nakalagay na ip address sa "ipchicken.com"

Second, you need to know the hardware model and software version ng modem na may adminpldt access so you can do the open ports or setup your VPS :) gusto ko din mag setup kaso walang pera HAHA :( kahit linux lang hehe

Dalawang brand ng modem kadalasan binibigay for PLDT Fibr users


1. Hardware Model(Modem)

For Fiberhome Hardware muna tayo

Ang mga FiberHome modem, hardware model ang kadalasan binbigay for PLDT Fibr users na may adminpldt na hehe, paano mo malalaman yung hardware model? sample picture provided below or kalakip neto sa modem makikita mo agad hahanapin mo naka sticker hehe. See the list below for the popular hardware models

  • AN5506-04-FA/HG6245D
  • AN5506-04-FA/AN5506-04-FAT
If wala dyan, i think GG need to request for the adminpldt, see it here -> https://pldthome.com/docs/default-source/updated-user-guide/acceptance-of-liability-waiver.pdf then submit sa nearest PLDT Branch/Office sa location mo

For Huawei Hardware naman is

Dalawang klase din ng Huawei modem, hardware model ang kadalasan at ang alam ko so far kasi hindi ako guamgamit nito hehe, na binibigay for PLDT Fibr users na may adminpldt na. See below for hardware model(pa see nalang sa modem pag eto nabigay sayo kalakip sympre yung sticker sa modem yung information ng modem mo hehe like model and serial number)

  • HG8245U/HG8245A/HG8245Q/HG8145V
  • HG8245U/HG8245A/HG8245Q

2. Software Version (Modem)

For FiberHome modem Software naman tayo

As of now, see the popular software versions sa baba na may adminpldt na(this can be found sa homepage of your modem webpage, default gateway ba, sample picture provided below)

For Huawei modem Software version

  • is I don't have any idea since hindi ako gumagamit nito kindly ask someone nalang or seek help sa discord channel -> support

Mga Sir patulong naman po, di ko ma change pass yung modem ko model AN5506-4-FG ONU Black color nung ni-reset to gain the default admin account and password. Matagal ko na po kasing di na aaccess admin account ng PLDT modem palaging wrong password, isa ko pang napansin naging unsecure na yung login index niya (https://192.168.1.1/login.html). Kung mayroon pong nakakaalam patulong naman po mga Sir. Thank you.:pray:

wala naman lol - kung ano yung usual settings ng modem mo - ayun din yung settings ng modem ko then - ayun ginawa ko lang yan and tadaa gumana sha

but bridge mode hehe goodluck kasi may mga iba na nababawasan bandwidth nila when doing that - i prefer na seek help kay pldt for this bridging modem to your router

Boss ask ko kung dapat ba enable sa Firewall settings yung ANTI PORT SCAN?

kung security - eh dapat naka enable yang anti port scan smh bat hindi nakaenable yan lol

sir hindi na ko maka-pasok sa router. tama nman yung password ko kaso dumederecho dun sa welcome page mag papalit ng Router Pass at SSID. Kahit tama yung mga ilagay ko, parating "The Password is Illegal"

good day Paps. question ko lng sana,, Ok na yong administrator access ko na, gusto ko kasi syang gawing additional AP. na disable ko na po ang kanyang DHCP server sa LAN section.. Ayaw parin maconek, pro nakikita ko na yong IP ng main source. walang internet nga lang..

mag add ka ng additional access point? tama ba? if yes look below

afaik - ibridge mode siya from the network -> broadband settings or DMZ mo yung router mo, with the "router mode" on network -> broadband settings - para magkainternet.


if no idk lol
