Mga Master/s, tanong ko lang sana kung anong alam ninyong possible solution regarding sa HARD DISK ko (Bad sector).

Kapag may bad sector na ang disk, kailangang i-replace na iyan sa lalong madaling panahon. I-backup mo na ang laman habang naa-access mo pa.

Yung reallocated sector count, ibig sabihin na re-allocate na automatically ng disk ang bad sector patungo dun sa mga spare sectors niya na in good condition pa. Limitado lang ang spare sectors na nilalagay ng manufacturer, kaya huwag mo nang hintayin na dumami pa ang bad sectors. Eventually, as good as dead na ang hard disk mo.

Naranasan ko na rin yan last year. Seagate Barracuda 4TB ST4000DM000, 2 years and 2 months old. Yellow pa nga yung sa akin eh kaya pinilit ko pa. Ginamitan ko ng HDD Regenerator para maayos ang bad sector. Kunyari lang pala yun. Dumadami ang reallocated sector count habang ginagamit ko ang disk. Isang buwan lang ang lumipas, patay na ang hard disk ko. Buti na-backup ko na ang laman bago pa mamatay.

Kung nasa ilalim pa ng warranty, ipa-RMA mo na. May logistics office ang Seagate tsaka Western Digital dito sa Pinas, kaya hassle-free magpa-RMA nationwide. Kung lagpas na sa warranty, bumili ka na ng bago.
