Registered and Aspiring Master Plumbers this is our home! Soon we'll be Plumbing Engineers!

PRC requirements as of today:
- atleast high school graduate
- 5 years plumbing experience signed by a Master Plumber
- Engineering graduate except Architecture, Civil Eng'g & Mechanical Eng'g wherein Transcript of Records lang ang kelangan. Other engineering graduates must submit certificate of plumbing experience signed by a Master Plumber.

Plumbing Law requirements:
-graduate of Plumbing Engineering

The bill, HB 5708, is already in the senate. Hopefully after the election, gumalaw n s senado ang plumbing engineering bill.

Anyway, here's the Plumbing Code ( I downloaded it from symbianize, If I remember correctly it's from Mr. Devilbat)

Note: I will delete, after 1 month, the old Master Plumber Thread (nasita tau dun e. wrong location daw. haha)

I suggest you read the this muna nago k magbasa ng questionaires:
- Revise National Plumbing Code
- fire code of the philippines
- phil. national drinking water standards
- batas pambansa 344 (for Persons with Disabilities or PWD)
- commercial sizes ng pipes (plastic, copper, cast iron, etc)
- color coding ng piping
- plumbing tools and uses
- pH
- sanitation code of the phlippines and its IRR
- Sanitary eng'g law
- master plumbing law
- definition of uPVC, PE.HDPE, PE etc
- plumbing design & estimate by Fajardo (lumabas yung hotwater tank sizes, p 259.
- mathematics (area, length, etc)

U can download it from the internet.

Salamat sa suggestions and tips. I have a background sa engineering subjects related to pipes (basic), sanitary, sewerage and water supply system.
1. Is there a probability I can pass the exam without taking the review with constant reading sa laws, prohibitions, etc.?

3. Any recommendation for the best review center( I'm from Davao City) Gusto ko sana sa Besavilla Review Center pero wala ako makitang iba except for this site
?
4. Ano ang pinakamahirap na subejct and why?
5. Mas maganda ba magtake sa 1st exam of the year( considering na easy ang problems na ibibigay)?
6. I need your expert advise (based on experience) before/during the board exam.

Maraming salamat po. God Bless!:thumbsup::salute:

First of all, you must be qualified to take the examination. Kaya naman ang self review. Pero if you really want to have a higher chance of passing mag enrol ka sa review center. Try mo MEPF Engineers Review. Meron yta sila online review for RMP.

My advise for you is, Be serious in reviewing. Mag save k ng time for your review. Pls read atleast 2-3 times ang plumbing code.

Hi!

Thank you sa links. Nakapagdownload na rin ako ng reviewers. :)

thank you sa reviewer brother. i will take my exam this july too.

Hi!

Thank you sa links. Nakapagdownload na rin ako ng reviewers. :)

70% angpassing rate.
1. Plumbing Arithmetic - 100 questions (10%) 2hrs
2. Sanitation, Plumbing Design & Installation - 100 questions (40%) 6hrs
3. Plumbing Code - 100 questions (10%) 2hrs
4. Practical Problems - 100 questions (40%) 6hrs

For sure pasado k jan.

Abnormal nga gumawa ng sked ng exam e. Dapat yung Math & Plumbing code 3hours. Tapos ung Design & Practical Problems 5 hrs. Ang resulta, fastbreak k s Math tska Plumbing code. Pagdating s ibang subject relax k naman.

When I took the exam, kulang n kulang ang 2 hours for Math & Plumbing code.

may jack-up ba sa exam? Kalangan talga magfocus sa Sanitation, Plumbing Design & Installation and Practical Problems para sure ball. I will take the risk to take this coming July.

And regarding sa requirements for the exam, kailangan ba talaga ung 5 year plumbing experience signed by a MP?pano kung wala pa akong experience and wala rin ako kakilala?

Kelan kaya tayo magiging plumbing engineer?
