just got one last week and my advice is to upgrade to gingerbread if possible. the froyo is good but if you are a heavy user of wi-fi and other apps then it would be best that you upgrade the firmware.

mga sir nag basa ako ng mga reviews,, and ang concern nila is yung batt consumption ng mini.. in your experience anu masabi nyo sa battery nyo? madali ba maubos? thanks planning to buy one

depende sa pag-gamit bro. to conserve batt consumption, turn off GPS, wifi and non-required running application. you should buy one.

kunting ingat nga lang sa pag-overclock kasi minsan nakakasira ito ng hardware sa SGM.

re-Flash the firmware bro para gumana ulit yung wifi mo.



about sa fat32/fat ay file system niya yun. sa ext2 naman, bale ito yung gagamitin para ma link ang mga files mo from internal memory to your micro SD card. sa linux swap naman ay di ko na alam yun.

Thank you po sa pagsagot sir.. nabasa ko na yung linux swap.. ewan ko lang kung tama yung pagkakaintindi ko.. katulad daw nung virtual memory ng windows, pag napupuno na yung internal memory ng phone natin, ipapasa daw sa linux swap.. correct nyo po ako kung mali ako..

another thing po.. nagttry po ako mag open vpn.. sinundan ko po yung mga instructions ni sir parasmi.. at binasa ko din yung thread ni sir cmangalos sa possible solution, kaso same error pa din.. eto po error: FATAL: cannot allocate TUN/TAP dev dynamically

tried solution but failed:
set the path of tun.ko
tried tun.ko from the repository thread
tried tun.ko from sir parasmi
tried tun.ko from xda
tried moving tun.ko to another location then set the path sa openvpn configuration

2.3.4 po firmware europe
sana po may makatulong, para di na ako mgreflash ng firmware and ulitin lahat ng step..

sir nasa first page po lahat ng info.. madali lang po sya detailed naman po ang mga steps ni sir parasmi... upgrade muna po sa gingerbread before rooting..

kung naka-Froyo pa yung SGM mo, update muna to gingerbread. siguro mga 5 minutes yung process. pag successful naman yung update mo, rooting naman ang kasunod which only takes 3 seconds. nasa first page yung TUT.

bro, iba yung files sa pag root. kung naka froyo pa yung firmware mo, follow the steps sa froyo rooting. pero kung naka gingerbread, follow gingerbread rooting.

sa pag update to gingerbread kung tama naman yung pag sunod mo sa steps, hindi naman siguro ma brick. pero incase nagkamali, just start from step 1. sa rooting naman, hindi naman ma brick yung unit mo incase magkamali.

download all the required files sa pag update and download the gingerbread 2.3.4.. tapos follow the steps sa pag flash ng firmware.

hindi naman, meron kasing mga application or games na kailangan ng higher firmware para gumana. about naman sa battery ay pwede naman mo e customize yung settings mo para maka tipid ng battery.

ah ganun ba,, kc ung corby 2 ko mtagal maubos batt khit ng sound at internet ,pag col at txt 3days,, me praan pa kya pra mpatagal batt ng mini,, ts pede kya batt ng corby 2 sa mini,,hehe

Setup on Froyo:
1. Gumawa ng folder na may pangalang openvpn sa root ng inyong SD card at ligay lahat ng config files sa openvpn folder
2. Extract yung attached openvpnfiles.zip
3. Lagay lahat ng files sa root ng inyong SD card
4. Install 'OpenVPN-Installer', 'OpenVPN-Settings', and 'Terminal Emulator' (kung wala pa kayo)
5. Open 'OpenVPN Installer'. Tap 'Install' > 'Install' > '/system/xbin' > 'system/xbin/bb'
6. Open 'Terminal Emulator'. Type the two commands below -

su
sh /sdcard/script

ts bt ayw mg install sinunod ko nman ang steps,, ayaw ng install ng binary
