Guys, adb kasi gamit ko para pumunta ng recovery mode. Pero paano pumunta ng recovery using hardware buttons lang? Joke time yung "Press and hold Power button + middle menu button together to start in recovery mode" dahil hindi naman gumagana.

Update ko kasi yung rooting guide sa Page 1

here are the updates in gingerbread.. i dont know if all of this is applicable in samsung galaxy mini... thread closed kasi may thread na pala na ganun so tinanggal ko na lang..

Improvement in the new Gingerbread update:

The overall user interface now has been substantially improved as with the use of Touch Wiz 3.0 Lite, you will never feel like using any other add on like additional tweaks.

Most of the users also reported an issue of frequent force closes in their gallery application which is now been fixed with this update of 2.3.3. By the way if you want to have an all new Gallery for Android then too you can enjoy it as it provides the iPhone like view of all the photos which are there in the Gallery with host of other added benefits and features.

Now, the free RAM too is increased and it also releases more RAM to the users directly so that the phone becomes much faster as the RAM availability has been increased to the users so that apps can make use of it and also the start-up time has been marginally reduced by two points. The quadrant speeds have been substantially improved and also the user interface is now much speedier than before. This update is considered as the major update with almost all the fixes.

Now, all new flash update of 10.3 Adobe flash comes packed along with this update and also most importantly the Google Maps are now updated with this update so as to deliver the 3D Map view.

Many user also reported the issues regarding the Android Market Place where in users we getting error messages while they are on the slow internet speeds or even sometimes on Wi Fi which now has been solved by this update.
Many of the users also reported that on their current 2.2 Froyo version due to slow internet speed the market place used to neither give an error due to which apps use to neither doesn’t get downloaded nor update the list of apps and required manual intervention for the update.

The voice search as well as the Google Maps now have been further optimized along with the GPS which were not accurate enough in the Galaxy mini. Along with this, the battery life has been substantially optimized for providing longer battery life but it may not be that high but it has been substantially increased the Quadrant scores.

The battery bug will be solved in the next version which will be in the version of Gingerbread 2.3.4 for Samsung Galaxy mini.

Wala pang masyado improvements pwede gawin sa ginger until samsung releases the kernel source for SGM. Same sa tun.ko

kasi ni try ko update ung OS to 2.2.3 yung nasa guide d2, natapus na mag load ung sa ODIN then. pero wla naman ngyari sa kaya tinangal ko sya sa usb then hind na nag bukas.. kung pa puntahin press ko ung 3 button para punta ng downloading hind na rin gumagana.. black na lng yung screen nya..

@parasmi...sir ano po ibig mong sabihin na proced sa first option after maupdate using recovery mode don sa first page update mo? it means ba na yong pagroot as froyo? just want to clarify...thanks

wah di pa pala gagana ang openvpn sa GB update until magkaron ng bagong tun.ko.. excited pa naman ako nadownload ko na yung firmware eh huhu.. tsaga na lang muna sa froyo sa ngayon hehe.. guys natry nyo na ba yung Plants vs Zombies na official for android? Astig parang PC version sya.. Di sya lag sa SGM natin.. Tried and tested ko na rin..

salamat po sa inyo mga k mini's n flash ko napo ung SGM ko sa GB... hehehe kakatapos lng ngaun... diko pa natesting ng husto pero mukhanga aus nmn at ang bilis ng opening and closing boot nia... aztig talga... thanks again... may mga ilang tanung lang po ako... anu napo bang bagong paraan ng pag roroot ng SGM?? hindi na daw po super 1 click sabi nung iba... pede ko po ba malaman kung anung process ng new rooting??? salamat po... pangalawa pong tanung kung totoo po bang may flash player 10.3 itong bagong GB? yun kasi ang nabasa ko sa thread ni ahmish... kaso nga lang closed n yung thread kaya diko po ma confirm.. salmat po ulit... more power SGM's... thanks

kahit po gingerbread yung OS basta hindi ma meet yung hardware requirements di gagana ang flash 10.3 sa SGM, Armv6 lang po ang processor nyan, minimum requirement po sa flash e yung mga Armv7 na processor
