a basic tuts for youtube caching..

*download pfsense 1.2.3 release by googling
*burn the iSO file in CD
*you must have 2 NIC card (for your modem and the other one for your network)
*p4 or higher, 1~2gb ram, minimum of 160gb~500gb hdd <--- good for testing
*now boot iSO cd in your CDROM Drive. and follow the instructions in youtube.

1.) From your "PfSense's GUI" run this at Diagnostics > Command.

fetch http://pfsense-cacheboy.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/script/package.sh && chmod +x package.sh && ./package.sh
2.) Now you may install lusca-cache at System > Packages.
3.) after the package installation run

gamitin mo yung routing policy ng pfsesne, pag hindi mo alam, means hindi ka competent para magawa yun, maghanap ka na ng tao na pwede gumawa sayo nyan.

hindi mo ito madadaan sa tutorial lang kasi kailangan ng konting connection debugging yan sa mga games na gusto mo ma separate yung traffic sa WAN1 and WAN2.

Sir kabisado nyo pa po ba? Interested ako. Di ko makuha sa gateway ng rules eh. Affected pa din both wans pag may youtube laki agad packet loss sa games. Quota na po PM nyo kaya dito na lang.

boss help boss newbie lng. nag install ako ng pfsense sa old laptop with 1 nic. then ikonekta ko sa laptop (server).
Ang problema ko di ko maaccess gui ni pfsense. patulong newbie lng po..
