After more than a week of using the Starmobile Diamond V7 as one of our daily drivers we’re all set to share with you guys our full review. To be honest if Starmobile released this gadget several months ago they probably would be making a ridiculous killing in sales. It was definitely way ahead of other phablets when it was originally announced several months ago but now people are starting to question the added premium considering there are other smartphones and phablets out there with lower prices that offer better specifications. This brings us to the question we want to answer in this review — is the Starmobile Diamond V7 still worth it?

Before we jump into the review, let’s go over the specifications once again.

Starmobile Diamond V7 operates fast and fluid with its Quad Core Processor, GPU and 1 GB RAM

At the back of Diamond V7 is a red Starmobile logo indicating that it has a 1.2 GHz MediaTek MT6589 processor. This operates the Diamond V7 together with a PowerVR SGX544MP Graphics Processing Unit and 1 GB of RAM to give you a smooth Android Jelly Bean experience.

An Antutu Benchmark test of a demo unit during the launching of Diamond V7 got a score of 13,042 points. That's considerably high given that it has a very large display.

18 Megapixel Camera at the Back and 8 Megapixel Camera at the Front

High Definition Display Protected by Dragontrail Glass

When offered with a phablet, we always worry that the large screen will be of low quality. But that's out of the question with Starmobile Diamond V7. It has a 720 x 1280 Pixel screen resolution with a pixel density of around 257 per inch.

The high number of pixels equates to clearer and sharper texts, images and other graphics. It also allows you to play high definition videos at their maximum resolution and see all the little details of the movie.

Diamond V7's large screen is protected from scratches by Asahi's Dragontrail Glass. Knives, keys and other steel objects can't render any scratch to Starmobile Diamond V7's screen. Don't try to put it together with real diamonds though. Diamond can cut through Dragontrail and Gorilla glasses

Great Battery Life

Starmobile Diamond V7 has more than enough battery capacity to power its huge screen. It is equipped with a 2600 mAh Li-ion battery with an estimated talk time of around 13 hours and standby time of 330 hours

Based on my experience using Starmobile V7, worth it naman siya gamitin ..un nga lang pag mahilig kang magDL ng photos and videos, etc.. you really need to expand your sd card from 8gb to 32gb kasi di talaga kakasya ..

oo nga eh, buti nalang at may extra pa akong 32sdcard dito

so far so good! nakapag extend ka na ba ng internal storage nya?

May card slot naman sya kaya ok lang kung 4gb internalsd, ang ang storage nya 1gb lang pero may tweaks na para ma extend ito for 2gb internal storage.

iroot mo muna sya.. follow mo itong ginawa ko...

Vroot

Downloadand install mo ito.

VRoot_(tangkop09).exe

Sundin lang ang mga ito.

1. Install Vroot yung pina download ko sa pc.

2. Open Vroot.

3. Enable USB Debugging on your Device

4. Connect your phone to your laptop or pc via usb cable.

5. Wait for vroot to download your drivers automatically and installed. (internet connections required)
note. minsa hindi madedetect ng vroot ang phone mo, kaya retry mo lang atleast 10 times, then
oras na madect na ito,

6. Click ROOT

7. Your phone will automatically reboot.

No need na mag install ng super user, just install app requiring root access. and autorize it.
now your device is succesfully rooted.

ano bang application! sakin 7months na after ko naroot using vroot at ok na ok parin

Hindi mo na kailangan mag bayad. try kong iupload mamaya ha.

Ano ba nangyar sa phone mo at kailangan mo ng scatterfile nito

Dito ka nalang mag rep. yung binigay ko sayong scatter yun na ang scatter ng v7 ko..

ganito gawin mo.

mag flash ka ng custom recovery. para maiflash mo yung stock rom na binigay ko.

ito yung mga kailangan mo .

download mo lahat

• RecoveryImage
• ScatterFile
• SP FlashTool Version v3.1304.0.119 (wag kang gagamit ng ibang version na SP FlashTool hindi madedetect ang scatter)
• Preloader.bin file

Ilagay mo sila lahat sa iisang folder at iextract sa pc.

Right cllick on SP Flashtool and run as administrator.

Click on Scatter-Loading and look for the "ScatterFile"

Uncheck everything except for the recovery and look for "recovery.img" and hit enter, F9, or download button.

Connect your device on yor pc using usp cable

Click yes then turn off your phone, remove and put back the battery.

SP FlashTool will start downloading the custom recovery image ( kung hindi madetect ng SP Flashtool ang phone try mo ulit iremove ang battery then back hanggang ma detect na sya ng SP FlashTool)

Wait until finish downloading...the next screen will appear and hit enter.

now, nakapag flash ka na ng Custom recover.

Boot your phoone on recovery

Press and hold VOL UP + POWER BUTTON and wait for the boot logo before releasing the keys.

Wipe Data / Factory Reset -> delete all user data.

Wipe Cache Partition -> wipe cache.

Advanced -> wipe dalvik cache.

Install ZIP from sdcard

Choose ZIP from sdcard ---> Select your ROM

Wait the process.

then reboot.

Done!​

ang gamit mo bang SPFlashTool ay version na v3.1304.0.119?

pag iloload mo na ang scatter sa SPFlashtool

uncheck mo lahat then yung RECOVERY lang ang naka check, at dapat nasa isang folder lang yung mga pinadownload ko sayo sa taas.
