lahat ng naglalabasan.. halos pare pareho lang specs.. puro MT6577 na maliit baterya.. sa price lang talaga maglalaban yan.

ibahin mo ang kata i1 dahil may 1gb ram ito, dagdag mo pa yung qhd ips nito sa hallgang 8,500

PdaNetZ350 - para ma-install yung driver sa pc niyo at para marecognize yung device as an android

MTKdroidTools_v230 - all in one root, backup & recovery

search niyo na lang kung saan makukuha dami ko na kasi napuntahang forum para makuha 'to..

i have this phone.. di siya china.. ive read somewhere kata is a canadian conglomerate.. and yung kata came from the name of their designer na from hongkong..

mabilis yung phone.. im playing nba 2k13, frontline commando, blood and glory, contact killer, dragon slayer, battlefield bad company 2 without lags at all.. downside lang talaga yung battery.. pero ok lang.. im quite happy with the unit.. bumili na lang ako ng PowerBank for emergency charging

yung 4GB internal memory nya hati sa 3 segments.. 502MB Internal Storage, 2.05GB Phone storage, and the rest for OS/Recovery/Factory Reset Image..

my unit is rooted already, and i was able to swap the 2.05GB phone storage with my Class 10 16GB microSD using the vold.fstab hack .. so my apps are now installed on the microSD..

Thanks for the clarification. Wow! then this phone is fantastic... all-in-one phone indeed. kung nakita ko to before the cloudfone 430x baka nahirapan ako mag decide. buti na din yun, mahirap din mag isip e... choices..choices.. choices.

Masaya ko sa 430x, pero pag heavy usage na minsan makikita na yung limitation ng < 1gb ram. Since the TS is comparing the response of his One x with that of i1 and he said it is close then the response of this phone must be good. Considering that its an unfair comparison to begin with, quadcore vs dual core.

I think ram matters a lot. Dual cores are really enough (galaxy nexus, xperia S/Arcro S) but I think 1 GB ram should be standard. Nung makita ko na 700MB yung ram ng 430x (vs 512 ng iba) ito na yung deal breaker kaya 430x ang kinuha ko.

But this phone... this is interesting indeed. Now, if only CM will hurry up in releasing the Omega so we can compare.

maganda ata talaga kata, eto nga yung pinost ko last time, to lang yung nakita kong review about a kata phone kaso eto yungmahal for its specs

afaik hongkong brand ang kata, under ng owtel brand. sana may magreview na bloggers neto in detail, interested ako aside from the skyfire. target ko kasi dual sim talaga and 4.5-4.7 inches na display.

i love this phone na! for the fact that the screen is fast, the camera is fast, and that i can take it out of the bag and people would think it's a samsung or htc. fun to see the expressions on their faces upon finding out that i have an 8.5K phone which looks and performs better than their branded phones. seriously the phone is very pretty.

anyway, with my use the phone, battery lasts me 8-12 hours, depending on how i use it. but mostly, my 3G is always on, my screen is set to either automatic or full brightness, i play online music while traveling in the morning and in the afternoon and i chat with people occasionally using gtalk and whatsapp. i plan to buy a battery pack to remedy the battery situation. don't really have to use it all the time but you never know.

what i don't like about this phone:
can't use the SD card for apps (so I might root)
maps app doesn't work very well (matagal sya mag locate)
eternity warriors 2 gets stuck (well it is a tegra game after all)

what i love aside from those i've already mentioned:
the camera takes good pictures aside from being fast
i can switch sim cards to use for 3G without opening the phone and doing a manual switch
it provides an option of which sim card to use even on replies.

about Kata Rooting, eto

HOW TO ROOT my kata I1

1. download Pdanet for windows here:http://junefabrics.com/android/download.php

2. install nyo then fallow nyo lang instruction (note wag nyo muna iconnect ung phone sa usb ah). when ask kung anong phone ang meron kau choose ung other brands

3. when ask to connect ung phone connect nyo na (note: be sure na usb debugging is enabled -makikita ito sa settings developer option check nyo ung usb debugging ). wait nyo lang macomplete ung installation/ driver instalation hanggang sa matapos, wala kaung gagawin kundi magintay..

after completion ng instalation ng pdanet.. time to root

5. Unzip nyo tpos DOUBLE CLICK nyo ung "RUNME.BAT" . COMMAND prompt windows will appear. .. hit nyo "1" then enter. (1 is normal rooting kung babasahin nyo)

6. wait lang kayo hanggang sabihin ng command promp na kelangang restore ung phone. check nyo ung phone nyo hit nyo ung "restore my data" tpos wait lang kayo magrestart yan.. wait lang kayo hanggang sabihin ng COMMand prompt na press anykey . press anykey kayo tpos wait nyo lang mag-on na si KATA .. then aun rooted na yan

sobrang linaw True IPS qHD kasi ang screen tapos 245 pa ang pixel per density

Super satisfying ang performance ng phone na to'. 9/10 ang rating ko. The only down thing is yung 1,600 mAh na batt.
