FAQS AND TIPS:
1. For Jailbroken iDevice, if you update to iOS 9 you will lose your JB and won’t be able to go back to lower version. You can only restore an iOS that are now currently signed to Apple server if you have saved an SHSH Blobs. iOs 6.1.3 only will be the latest iOS that can be restored as of now (iPhone 4S and up, not supported).
2. Enter to DFU mode to avoid error/s while updating.
3. For Jailed iDevice, if you are planning to Jailbreak it, never upgrade your OS via OTA. This will cause problem when jailbreaking.
4. Make sure you have at least 6GB or over free space available on your device to update to iOS 8.1.1.
5. If you plan to update via OTA, connect your iOS device to a stable Wi-Fi connection.
6. Turn off "Find my Iphone/Ipad" before upgrading.
7. For locked iDevice, make sure you have the ORIGINAL sim of your device (for activation).
8. For those who are using interposer sim (R-sim, X-sim, Heicard), make sure that it is supported by the current iOS version before upgrading.
9. You can still downgrade your device from iOS 9 to iOS 8.4.1. It is still signed to Apple server. (You won’t be able to downgrade once Apple has stop signing to iOS 8.4.1)

Step 1: Launch the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
Step 2: Tap on Wi-Fi and hit the ‘i’ next to your network name.
Step 3: Manually enter the following DNS address as shown in the screenshot below:
8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4
Step 4: Save your settings and run a speed test to verify if the issue has been resolved or not.
That’s it!
The trick here is the DNS that we are using, which is Google’s very own in this case. Google DNS is known to help Web pages load faster in most circumstances, however this is more of a workaround rather than an actual fix, and may not help users who are facing issues pertaining to dropped Wi-Fi connections.
