Hi po, kanina lang po kasi pumunta ako sa Octagon sa SM Branch nila, bilhin ko sana yung RAM nila na Kingston HyperX Fury na 4gb 1866MHz ang memory, pero sinabihan ako nila kung 1866MHz rin ba ang RAM na nasa computer ko, at kung ano ba ang processor ko, dahil hindi ako sigurado hindi ko muna binili at sinabihan rin nila ako na tignan ko daw ang specs ng desktop ko sa CPU-Z eto po mga pics ng specs ko sa CPU-ID. Tanung ko rin kung pwede rin ba 8gb rin na RAM ang ikabit ko diyan 1866mhz rin siya. Maraming Salamat Po. :pray:

Mababa frequency nung gamit mo na RAM ngayon.

Kung compatibility din naman ang usapan, kahit kabitan mo sya ng HyperX, oo gagana parin naman sya.
Pero ang mangyayari nyan magiging bottleneck yung luma mong RAM. That is, yung HyperX na 1866MHz eh magse-settle sa 666.5MHz (frequency nung RAM na gamit mo ngayon) para pantay sila. That's 1199.5MHz na masasayang lang. Which means sayang lang din pera mo. Unless ikakabit mo yung HyperX tapos aalisin mo na yung luma para gamit mo yung full speed ng HyperX.

Also kung gagamit ka ng RAM na by pair, mas maganda kung yung dalawang RAM mo eh parehas ng size (capacity). Para gamit din yung dual channel and thus, better performance.

Again, pwede naman kahit hindi. Gagana parin naman yun pero pilay nga lang yung performance ng PC mo.
 
Maraming salamat po. Pero what about sa processor ko po wala po bang conflict about dun? kasi may sinabi kasi siya na dapat ko rin tignan ang processor ko.

Yung CPU mo ts, yung maximum supported frequency nya is 1333MHz lang

better not buy 1866 kasi incompatible cya baka mag cause yan ng mga errors pagka install mo

kung i-uupgrade mo talaga,

palitan mo na din yung current ram mo kasi AFAIK di nag mamatch timings ng mababa at mataas na frequencies ng memory sticks

mag cacause din yan ng mga bluescreens at iba't ibang hardware failure

It's all defends on your motherboard and not entirely on your processor. 3rd generation processors IMC will supports 1600 frequency and above.
1333 is just the recommended speed set by intel for g2030. and your board support up to DDR3 2200(on OC). so technically you can run HyperX
Fury 4gb 1866MHz in that speed.

btw your memory is 2GB DDR3 1333 CL9. if plan mo mag upgrade get the same frequency and CL(timing).
 
Salamat po sa info. Binunot ko pala ang RAM ko at nakalagay dun 1333 di ko alam kung bakit 667 nasa CPU-Z. Thanks biscuitz.
