LPI_Essentials - basic and essential knowledge of Linux System, this is the 1st book you must read!!!!!!!!!!

[h=1]Linux System Administration[/h]If you're an experienced system administrator looking to acquire Linux skills, or a seasoned Linux user facing a new challenge, Linux System Administration offers practical knowledge for managing a complete range of Linux systems and servers. The book summarizes the steps you need to build everything from standalone SOHO hubs, web servers, and LAN servers to load-balanced clusters and servers consolidated through virtualization. Along the way, you'll learn about all of the tools you need to set up and maintain these working environments.

Linux is now a standard corporate platform with users numbering in the hundreds of millions, and there is a definite shortage of talented administrators. Linux System Administration is ideal as an introduction to Linux for Unix veterans, MCSEs, and mainframe administrators, and as an advanced (and refresher) guide for existing Linux administrators who will want to jump into the middle of the book.

[h=1]Beginning Ubuntu Linux, 5th Edition[/h]Ubuntu Linux is the fastest growing Linux - based operating system, and Beginning Ubuntu Linux, Fifth Edition teaches all of us - including those who have never used Linux - how to use it productively, whether you come from Windows or the Mac or the world of open source.

Beginning Ubuntu Linux, Fifth Edition shows you how to take advantage of Lucid Lynx. Based on the best-selling previous edition, Emilio Raggi maintains a fine balance between teaching Ubuntu and introducing new features. Whether you aim to use it in the home or in the office, you'll be introduced to the world of Ubuntu Linux, from simple word processing to using cloud services. You'll learn how to control the Ubuntu system, which you just installed from the book's DVD, as you are guided through common tasks such as configuring the system's graphical user interface (GUI), listening to audio CDs and MP3s, producing documents, using VoIP and chat, and of course, general system maintenance.

[h=1]Beginning Fedora[/h][h=4]Beginning Fedora: From Novice to Professional guides you through the tasks most new Linux users desire to perform, while explaining potentially confusing concepts along the way. It will steer you through system customization opportunities and common tasks like listening to audio CDs and MP3s, watching movies, and performing office- and Internet-related jobs. A large part of the book is dedicated to advanced command-line techniques necessary to maintain your system and become a true Linux master![/h][h=1]Linux in a Nutshell, 6th Edition[/h]Everything you need to know about Linux is in this book. Written by Stephen Figgins, Ellen Siever, Robert Love, and Arnold Robbins -- people with years of active participation in the Linux community -- Linux in a Nutshell, Sixth Edition, thoroughly covers programming tools, system and network administration tools, the shell, editors, and LILO and GRUB boot loaders.

This updated edition offers a tighter focus on Linux system essentials, as well as more coverage of new capabilities such as virtualization, wireless network management, and revision control with git. It also highlights the most important options for using the vast number of Linux commands. You'll find many helpful new tips and techniques in this reference, whether you're new to this operating system or have been using it for years.

[h=1]Pro Ubuntu Server Administration[/h]Pro Ubuntu Server Administration teaches you advanced Ubuntu system building. After reading this book, you will be able to manage anything from simple file servers to multiple virtual servers to high - availability clusters. This is the capstone volume of the Apress Ubuntu trilogy that includes Beginning Ubuntu Linux, Third Edition and Beginning Ubuntu Server LTS Administration: From Novice to Professional, Second Edition. You will be able to make Ubuntu technology shine in a Fortune 500 environment and let Ubuntu server become the backbone of your infrastructure.

[h=1]Linux Mint System Administrator's[/h]System administrators are responsible for keeping servers and workstations working properly. They perform actions to get a secure, stable, and robust operating system. In order to do that, system administrators perform actions such as monitoring, accounts maintenance, restoring backups, and software installation. All these actions and tasks are crucial to business success. Linux Mint System Administrator's Beginner's Guide is a practical and concise guide that offers you clear step-by-step exercises to learn good practices, commands, tools, and tips and tricks to convert users into system administrators in record time.

[h=1]Running Linux, 5th Edition[/h]You may be contemplating your first Linux installation. Or you may have been using Linux for years and need to know more about adding a network printer or setting up an FTP server. Running Linux, now in its fifth edition, is the book you'll want on hand in either case. Widely recognized in the Linux community as the ultimate getting-started and problem-solving book, it answers the questions and tackles the configuration issues that frequently plague users, but are seldom addressed in other books.

This fifth edition of Running Linux is greatly expanded, reflecting the maturity of the operating system and the teeming wealth of software available for it. Hot consumer topics suchas audio and video playback applications, groupware functionality, and spam filtering are covered, along with the basics in configuration and management that always have made the book popular.
