My Personal Review:

So I have been using this phone for a week now.

Design: 8/10
Sometimes, I get "Is that the Sony Xperia Z?" question.

Display: The display is actually good.
I don't know what's wrong with qHD resolution. 220PPI isn't that big deal. I don't see any pixel on screen - at least not with my naked eye.

Battery life: Superb!
With minimal use, (Minimal= Minimal texting, few phone calls, minimal browsing via WiFi, casual gaming) this can last up to 2 days.
With maximum use (Maximum= Text, call, browse, music (earphones), movies,) maximum of 6 hours (3G browsing consumes more battery juice.)

Actual performance: Snappy
No lags, stuttering, sudden restart, etc.

Camera: Decent
Rear cam: 9/10 Very good
Front cam 3/10 very poor in low-light area.

Memory: Does it job.
The RAM is about 970Mb. 600+ are used by system bloatwares (can be disabled) so do the math.
Internal memory has 1.2Gb for apps and the rest is for media files. Apps can be installed in memory card, there's an option on the app management.*download Clean Master (Free) by KD to maintain your phone*

Issues so far: Can be resolved by firmware update.
Battery drains so fast when reached 30% then stopped at 13%.
When you restart, app shortcuts are gone. Solution: Use 3rd-party launcher

Also, it supports USB-OTG.

No news about JellyBean 4.3 or KitKat yet.

Once installed, open the application and select Faramir. Wait for the confirmation that says your device is rooted, please restart. Done!

Download Root Checker Basic on Play Store to check root access.

yeah, this is a nice phone for it's target market.

here's my feedback on using this for a few hours:

Di ko type yung implementation ng dual sim support dito. kelangan mo yung pull-down notification menu. tapos, may some sort of button/notification dun indicating which SIM you will use on your call/sms/data. I wish, they had just made separate buttons to call or send via SIM1 or 2.
The interface is the same with other 2013 xperia devices and you'll feel at home being a Sony fan. The build quality is excellent as with all Sony devices.
Based from the user's feedback, maganda raw ang camera.
I am spoiled with HD displays kaya I'm not impressed with its screen's low pixel count. Nevertheless, the color reproduction is good. Haven't seen it perform in direct sunlight yet.
Also, another note, Xperia C has a locked bootloader which will never be unlocked. It's using a mediatek processor which means that it will have a different loader and the unlock architecture is not supported.
That means goodbye to AOSP roms, custom kernels, overclocking and undervolting.

yun nga lang napansin ko nawawala yung shortcuts na nakainstall sa sdcard pag nagrestart ako. nalalakihan ako nung una pero nasanay nko. biggest issue sa akin yung internal memory napakababa. kulang para sa app. data ng nakainstall na hd games ko.

About sa dual-sim support, though isang sim lang ang gamit ko, I find it more appealing na walang Sim 1 or Sim 2 sa Messaging app. Mas elegant yung interface. Pero siguro dun sa mga dual-sim users talaga, medyo sanayan nalang. Rear cam, yes, it's good enough but the front cam sucks big time. Hahahaha.

Opo. Just download my attachment. Hindi po yan, mabilis maroot. Less than a minute lang.

Just download it on Play Store po. Nova Launcher for example.
