--ROOTING-- (Easiest way to Root your Z1)

Instructions:
1. First we need VROOT, Download VROOT here: Link
2. Install VROOT to your PC.
3. Make sure Xperia Z1 drivers are properly installed.
4. Open VROOT.
5. Connect your device.
6. Click Root. (Do not remove device until mag boot)
7. Voila! Rooted ka na!

Note: VROOT ay nasa chinese language, hindi din ma translate sa English, Superuser app is also in chinese so huwag kayo mag taka just incase chinese ang mag pop up na notification. We can replace chinese superuser into SUperSU, instructions will be posted below.

Wait for your phone to boot then look for superuser app.



Guide for replacing chinese Superuser with english SuperSU or Superuser:

1. After successfully rooting your phone with Vroot method, open playstore and download SuperSU.
2. Open Superuser then update, grant superuser permission.
3. Connect device to PC
4. Open Vroot
5. Click the green button again (ROOT)
6. Then click the white button with chinese character and word ROOT (This will remove superuser)
7. Device will reboot.
8. Open superuser, Goo to settings and Install SuperSU into system
9. You have now English SuperSU

Note: Minsan after installing supersu sa system nawawala ito sa app drawer, open niyo lang yung playstore then install SuperSU again.

How to enter flashmode?
- Connect your device to PC while holding volume down button.

How to enter to fastboot mode?
- Connect your device to PC while holding volume up button.

Downloads:

Instructions: (Flashing anf FTF File)
1. Download and install flashtool.
2. Install z1 drivers
3. Copy the FTF File to C:/Flashtool/Firmwares
4. Open flashtool
5. Select the FTF file you want to flash
6. Connect device in flashmode
7. Wait until flashing is done
8. Finish

FAQs
1. Bakit kailangan ng TA backup?
- Para makapag restore ka ng DRM (Digital Rights Management) keys after mo i-unlock yung device mo. (For Xreality and warranty purposes)

2. Gagana ba ito sa Linux and Mac?
- Hindi, sa windows PC lang ito gagana.

3. Kailangan ba na rooted ang Z1?
- Oo

4. Pwede ba ko mag TA backup pag unlock na ang bootloader ko.
- Hindi, hindi mo na kailangan ang prosesong ito dahil wala na ang DRM keys mo.

5. Gagana ba ito kung sakaling ibang backup galing sa ibang Z1 ang gamitin ko?
- Hindi, at pwedeng ma brick ang phone mo.


Back up procedure
GUIDE
1. Download the latest version of Backup TA.
2. Extract the ZIP file.
3. Go to the folder location of Backup TA where you extract it.
4. Make sure no other script or application which is using ADB is running.
5. Open and run TA backup found on the extracted folder.
6. Connect your phone
7. Follow and read the information by choosing appropriate options.
8. Finish

Yup mas mura talaga sa gulf countries dahil walang tax and maraming freebies.


And hindi din battery drainer ang Z1. Ngayon 3 hours screentime on ko with remaining 55% pa.


Comparing z1 to xperia ray ;)

Ayun, may issues din sya, parang normal lang an mga bagong release na product na may issues, though may quality checking naman sila. :-D

Yung mga first batch siguro yan, usually puro galing India yung unit na nababasa kong may issuue. Pero hindi pa ako nakakakita ng actual unit na may yellow tint issue.

Yup sir, yung mga naunang batch lang siguro... Sa ngayon naman wala ng bagong may yellow tint issue sa mga newer batch..

Hindi lang xperia, pati nexus 7 may mga issue din an iba, kahit Ford na sasakyan may mga recall din.

Sa mga volume productions hindi na talaga mawawala yun, kahit dati naman siguro nangyayari yan hindi nga lang na eexpose masyado dahil sa limited lang ang may internet before at wala pa yung mga forum na ganito.

Pero so far wala pa naman ako nakukuhang defective unit sa mga phones eversince.
