Your thoughts on Sid Meier's Civilization 5?

I just discovered this game a few days ago thru Steam and I've been hooked to it ever since. It took me 5 beginner-level trials bago ko naintindihan ang gameplay. And my first completed game by domination victory took 17.5 hours to finish. Grabe, para ka na ring nagbi-build ng sarili mong civilization. Kelangan talaga may balance between population, technology, food source, trade, espionage, diplomacy, tourism, etc. Unlike karamihan ng mga strategy games na palaging fast-paced at within minutes lang ang duration at thru war lang ang win, eto every step kailangan mo talag pag-isipan yung next strategy mo kasi may snowball effect ang ginagawa mo and still you'll never know if it's the best path to victory kasi andami talagang pinag-iisipan. Tsaka di lang war, pati religion or diplomacy or being the most high tech civ pwedeng gawin para manalo sa game na to.

May naglalaro ba ng Civ 5 dito? Anong masasabi niyo sa game na to? Tell us your thoughts.

One of my favorite 4x game.
Eto yung may XCOM commandoes at death robot sa end game.

Saka may Civ 6 na ah at parang kalalabas lang bagong expansion?.


My other recommendations sa 4x genre:
Stellaris (from Paradox, probably the best 4x game out there, Galactic empire building)
Total war series, madami kasi sila (From Sega, unlike Civ, May total control ka sa battles)
Europa Universalis IV (from Paradox again, similar sa Civ pero mas Intense yung difficulty)

I am definitely taking notes on those titles. I heard na maganda din daw yung Europa Universalis IV, nasa wishlist ko na sa Steam actually. As for Civ 6, saka na lang ako bibili pag namaster ko na yung 5 at madami nang expansions sa 6. Yes, Stellaris from Paradox Studio nga pala. Will consider looking at it. Ang galing nila gumawa ng 4X games, nagustuhan ko din yung Crusader Kings II nila.

But as of now, focus muna ako sa Civ 5. Mamasterin ko muna to as a single player then pag confident na ako sa skills ko, I'll proceed with the multiplayer mode to test my abilities.
