sir jecht naview ko na yung vid na nilink mo. just wanna know whats next to play games from an external hard drive. mejo vintage na kasi un ps2 ko (scph 77006 yta?) kaya choosy na sya sa games LOL. been reading on psx-scene pero masyado ako nawindang kaya naisipan ko d2 sa SB then sakto nakita ko post mo. tia boss sana matulungan mo ko

Nakakapaglaro ba ng ps1 games sa ps2 using hdloader?

gamit ka ng PS2PSXe, though hindi siya noob friendly (saka wala siyang sound pag nagpaplay ka ng ps1 games), hindi pwedeng magplay sa hdloader ng ps1 since for ps2 lang yun

where should i put the OPL? onto another usb stick or on the hdd that i'd be using to store the games? salamat sir!

i put mine on the usb stick. i guess you could put it on the same hdd since you can access it when you launch uLaunch ELF (i.e., use file browser and navigate to where you stored it).

i have just this one small prob...or is it small? i've downloaded the ule like what the vid said. unzipped it and burned it to a dvd. the problem is my psp cant read the burnt dvd anymore. making me unable to install free mcboot into the memory card...am i stuck already or is there another way

saken lahat ng GAMes ko panay DL lang. Diretsyo sila lahat sa HDD.

kasi naka HDD PS2 ko.
FMCB + HDLoader lang men.

magkano magpakabet ng hdd sa ps2 at san nakakabili ng ganyan? My ps2 phat kasi ako, mahina na bumasa ang lens..

your PS2's disc drive is no longer operational? is that what you're saying? it couldn't play even original PS2 game discs? if that is the case, you need to find a PS2 of the same make/region like yours.

borrow from a friend or relative, perhaps?

OPL vs HDloader

sa OPL, frequently siya kasi nauupdate (last update niya last year lang), unlike HDloader hindi nauupdate yung program nun, yung OPL compatible siya either sa external HDD with ISO format or USBextreme format PS2 games, or internall HDD with HDLoader format games

anyways try mo na lang basahin sa official site ng OPL, or check mo sa forums nila sa psx-scene

kasi diba i need to install free mcboot? in order to install free mcboot, i need to burn ulaunch elf in a dvd right? the problem is hindi ma read ng ps2 ko un bnurn kong ulauncher.elf kasi namimili na tlga na tlga ng babasahin yun ps2 ko...other pirated games works fine like guitar hero metallica, world tour etc. talagang namimili lang sya ng cd. so i wanna know if there's a way around installing mcboot kahit di nababasa ng lens ko yun binurn kong ulaunch.elf?thanks sir

let me just give you a run through:

i used this file, uLaunchELF_v4.40_CD.zip, which contains ulaunchelf440.iso. i burned this image file to a blank CD-R. now, that cd contains these 3 files:

1. BOOT.ELF
2. DUMMY.BIN
3. SYSTEM.CNF

i'm able to run this cd on both my FAT and SLIM PS2s. both units are modified.

possible causes of your problem:

*there might be a problem with your disc (you can use a CD or DVD to burn the uLaunch.elf files, depending on which zip file you downloaded from sksapps.com)

**check if the disc you burned contains all the necessary files in order for it to boot properly on your modified PS2


if you have verified the above and the disc still doesn't boot/run, like what i've said in my previous reply:

FIND & USE ANOTHER PS2 OF THE SAME MAKE OR REGION LIKE YOURS. You can borrow from a friend or a relative who has one.

anong klaseng file tinutukoy mo na gusto mo i-save? anyway, mura lang naman na ngayon memory card ng PS2. bili ka na lang ng bago.
