MGA KA-TS IN-OPEN KO ITONG THREAD NA ITO KASI WALA NA AKONG MAHANAP NA MODDING PO ITO. SA MGA CURIOUS NA MAG TRY KALIKUTIN ANG NA AAGNAS NA PS2 SA BAHAY NILA OR GUSTO TUKLASIN (MULI) ANG SIKRETO NG ARCADE TYPE NA PS2 NA KUMKALAT NGAYON, HOPE THIS WOULD HELP.

BAGO ANG LAHAT KAILANGAN NITO NG:​

1. Mahaaaaaaaaabang Pasensya
2. Regular Burger at Fries
3. Magbasa ng Mabuti. Kung hindi naiintindihan gamitan ng Google Translate.
4. Malawak na Paguunawa
5. Hardware na Kailangan (PS2 HDD MC etc.)

Para Maintindihan ng Mabuti... Ang Exploit po nito ay may goal depende sa system at ang current setting po nito. Ang loader po ang responsible para malaro ang mga games na gusto natin ilagay sa hdd or sa usb if possible.​

Para sa PHAT na MAY MOD CHIP na may DEV function tulad ng Matrix =
1. Formatted ang HDD sa WinHiip muna
2. Boot the PS2 with the HDD attached
3. Return the hdd to pc and put a loader to the hdd directory hdd0:/__boot/boot.elf ... where hdd0 is the directory of the ps2 hdd and boot.elf is the renamed loader.
4. Put games in the hdd via winhiip.
5. Return the hdd to ps2 boot up while holding L1 and enjoy!

Para sa mga walang mod - chip at mag slim ay sundin ang memory card exploit (BASAHIN NG MABUTI THIS REQUIRES A PC AND YOUR PATIENCE)
Kailangan meron kayo memory card reader and loader files na gusto niyo gamitin.Dapat WORKING ANG LENS NG PS2. I recommend hdloader or FREEMCBOOT sa mga PHAT para mas madali ang pagadd ng exploit with HDD at sa slim try natin ang FREEMCBOOT + USBXTREME

FYI lang po... ang winhiip ay gamit po para mai-transfer ang ps2 games from pc to PS2 HDD po at hindi ito ang exploit.

WINHIIP TUTORIAL​

The following hardware is required for using WINHIIP:

1. An official PS2 network adapter. Either adapters that are shown in the picture can be used.

2. A Suitable hard disk. You can use the official hard disk or a standard IDE hard disk drive with a capacity of up to 2000 GB (48BIT). If you use a standard IDE drive, you will need to make sure that it actually fits into your network adapter. Most Western Digital drives do not physically fit onto the PS2 network adapter without some modification, so we recommend that you stay clear of this brand. There are also issues with some modern Seagate drives, which cause problems when used in conjunction with older models of the official PS2 network adapter. We recommend using a Maxtor or Hitachi brand HDD with HDAdvance. If HDAdvance freezes at the splash screen for you, then it is due to the conflict mentioned above. In order to resolve this you will either need to purchase a new hard disk drive or network adapter.

3. A PS2 with a "Bay-Type" expansion port. All PS2's will have this expansion port except for the first three Japanese models (SCPH 10000, SCPH 15000 and SCPH 18000) which have a PCMCIA expansion port instead. These models are not supported by HDAdvance.

How to Install Your Hard Disk
If you have an official PS2 hard disk drive, then please install it according to the directions in its manual. If you will be using a standard IDE hard disk drive, then please make sure that the hard disk drive you intend to connect to your PS2 will actually fit into your network adapter.

Check that the IDE and power ports on your hard disk drive properly align with the IDE and power connectors on your network adapter.

Configure the jumper setting on the hard disk drive so it is set to MASTER. To find the correct jumper settings for your hard disk drive, either check the label on top of the hard disk drive or consult your reference manual.
Attach the hard disk drive to the network adapter by lining up the IDE and power ports/connectors and pressing firmly, as shown in Picture.

Carefully slide the hard disk drive into the PS2 expansion bay as shown below. Push until the network adapter is connected to the back of your PS2, then screw in the screws on the back of the network adapter to secure the hard disk drive and network adapter. Congratulations, you have successfully connected a hard DISK TO YOUR PS2!​

Definitions​

A. DEV1 – This is the ability to boot an ELF file from memory card.
B. DEV2 – This is the ability to boot an ELF file from HDD.
C. Auto ATAD Patching – This is a commonly misconceived function. It is not used to help games be more compatible but it is used to us a non-official HDD with programs that require the official $ony HDD, such as the upgraded $ony Browser 2.0, and the official Linux.
D. Clone – This is an imitation of an original mod chip usually made of cheaper less stable materials. And it uses the original mod chip’s firmware. DO NOT UPGRADE FIRMWARE OR ENTER CONFIGURATION MENU ON CLONES. DOING SO WILL BRICK THE CHIP RENDERING IT USELESS. Also the only way to know if you have a clone is to open the system up and look at the chip. If it doesn’t

you have a clone. YES TULAD NG PHONES MAY NA "DANAO" PO NA MOD CHIP

Shortcut Buttons​

Even though this chip has the automatic media detection feature, there will sometimes be a game or movie that will not boot under normal circumstances. This list is to allow you to force it to boot.

Circle - Boots Chip/system into PSX DVD Video mode. This forces the PS2 to either play PS1 games or DVD movies.

Triangle - Forces the system to boot the Infinity Manager (if installed - To install, please refer to the Infinity Manager section in this tutorial)

Cross - Forces the system to bypass settings and boot to the Sony Browser with the chip enabled.

Start - This Disables the chip. Once this is done, tap the standby button to reset the system to finish disabling the chip. To Re-enable the chip you must place the system into standby.

Select - This forces a Fast boot on PS2 games. Basicly skipping the startup animation and PLaystaion 2 Logo on disc boot.

R1 - This boots a homebrew ELF file from the first memory card (mc0:/BOOT/BOOT.ELF) If installed - To install, please refer to the DEV1 section of this tutorial.

L1 - This boots a homebrew ELF file from the hard drive if installed (hdd0:/__boot/boot.elf) To install, please refer to the DEV2 section of this tutorial.

To enter the Configuration Menu, hold TRIANGLE AND CIRCLE at power on.

NGAYON, maglalagay tayo ng launcher para sa PS2 natin via DEV1 or DEV2 Method whatever madali sa inyo po....what we need in our bag here:
DVD uLauncher (Dev 1 Method)
uLauncher elf (Dev 2 Method)
HDLoader (Ito ang Magload ng Games natin sa HD!)


Installing Homebrew on DEV1

Download either disc image of uLaunchELF and burn it to the appropriate media. Insert in to the ps2 and boot it. This will allow you to enter a file browser. Once in the file browser, navigate to CDROM and enter it. Highlight BOOT.ELF and hit R1 and select copy. Now navigate to MC0 and hit R1. Select NEW FOLDER. Name the folder BOOT. Now go ahead and enter that folder. Now just hit R1 and select paste. Congratulations, you now have DEV1 setup to boot from.(Note: Kailangan din po nito ng HDLoader or Launcher ng games either USB or HDD, Dito papasok si HDLoader, USBAdvance or Open PS2 Loader!)

Installing DEV2

From what I’ve read all over the internet, the DEV2 installer can be used with clones that have firmware version 1.54 or higher. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Assuming that you can at the very least boot hdl on your system, I'll take you through the process to get DEV2 working.

METHOD FOR WORKING LASER
---There is no need to modify these files as they are complete and ready to burn and boot in your system.

METHOD FOR NON WORKING LASER
1. remove your hdd and attach it to your computer by either an open IDE cable inside your cpu.
2. Download one of the DEV2 installers from above. (preferably one installs uLE so that you can run more than just one program)
3. unzip the installer ISO file and use winhiip to install the PS2 HDD.
4. Remove your HDD from your pc/usb
5. Install ps2 hdd back into your ps2 and run hdl. Then run the dev2 installer from the list.
6. Reboot your system and hold L1 on startup.

si nkikita ko na expert ka sa pag mod ng ps2, kaya sana matulungan mo ako about s ps2 ko! Ang unit ko ay (SCPH 70000) modified napo un, kaya lang 4 times na ako nagpapalit ng lense, sabi ng technician na pinapagawan ko 2 hours lang daw pwedeng laruan ang unit ko kasi may mali daw sa system ng ps2 ko, sa unit daw un! Pero yung barkada ko meron din sya ganyang model (SCPH 70000) din pero nalalaruan naman namin ng 12hours mahigit! Ano po kya pwedeng gawin sa ps2 ko pa tumagal din ang playing time ko nang hindi nasusunog ang lense? Thanks po! Sana may advice ka para sakin!

Ah! Slim model kasi sayo po bro at alam ko na ang naging prob! Common talaga yan sa japanese converted consoles...similar prob sa unang psx, gamecube, sega saturn noon na fuse out kaagad ang mga lens! Sa totoo lang ang mga lenses na pang US at Europe ay di pwede sa Jap dahil iba ang gamit nilang regional settings kaya natural mas malakas ang lens na pang US kaysa JAP (or vice versa ata)....ang nangyayari nagiinit agad ang lens at poof!

Siguro ang advice ko mag USB extreme ka na lang... makakapaglaro ka ng games thru USB sa PS2. Tutal di maxiadong mahirap dahil modded na ang ps2 mo po.

No prob! Kung gusto mo tip kita kung gusto mo ipamodify mo ng mod chip na Matrix Infinity(Mas madali at stable ang pag exploit dito) sa Raon, Quiapo may nalaman ako nagmomodify at sa Greenhills. Provide ako ng tutorial para gumana ang loader.

May way ba para mainstall yung hd loader kahit walang lens yung ps2? ps2 ko kasi tinangal na yung lens, DMS4 modchip na xa and may 80gb network adaptor, bale rekta na sya sa hd..kaso nacorrupt kaya nireformat ko. Problem ko is may way ba na mainstall yung hd loader ng walang lens ung ps2 (wala din po pala aq memory na may freemcboot). thanks po...if wala tlga, dalhin ko na lang siguro ito sa raon...hehehe

@princedarwin: ang winhiip ready na po un ang hdloader kaso reformat mo pa ang hdd mo po...qng me card exploit namn ang gusto mo...check mo ung ps2 mem card reader sa cd-r king...may nakita kasi ako nun na may utility kasama para magtransfer ng save po bro.
