Mga ka TS sensya po sa delay po nawala kc c vpn last week mamayang gabi tataposin ko ang mga tuts nag laboratory test ako ng mga pwedeng posibleng solutions sa ibang exploits. Nga pala in terms of movie avi ang kaya ng ps2 via sms launcher....well be having that this evening...sigurista kasi po ako bago mgsulat popara wala mga damages sa mga units natin.

@joven wala pa akong nakaencounter ng modchip that reads dvd movies hayaan mo po at hanap ako... Ps1 games yes pwede po sa mod type pong units.

nagkaproblem ako, haha pinaayos ko ung ps2 ko, pinalitan nya ng mod chip
then pati lens, and napagastos talagah ko ng malaki haha
and parang bago cxa, ang problem is, first boot cd lng tinatanggap nya
kya pag sinalpak ung gamshark or something else, ayaw na na magreboot ng
second time, nid pa ireset ung console, may paraan pa ba un?, ty

Anong MODCHIP niya po bro? You mean laro di na niya naboboot po? Paki linaw po ng case para mabigyan din ntin ng magandang solution. Ang aking isa pang hinala kung peke po ang mod chip that is really a problem in your part po.

PS2 Mod[HDD Type]...SLIM...and Applications!

ToxicOS v0.41
For DMS4 Pro chips try also in other chips

In order to get the most out of your DMS4 Pro chip you will need to use ToxicOS. The manual is pretty well written , but can be a little vague for those new to modchips. So i'll try to give more details where i can, lets start with Installing ToxicOS v0.41
Note: This tutorial is made with images taken from my console with a custom skin i made, so yours will have the default background & colors.​

Installing ToxicOS For modded ps2

Installation directions vary depending on boot method:
Download
ELF boot: Simply execute the ELF using your favorite loader application (PS2Menu, PS2Link, Naplink, PS2OS, LaunchELF etc) and follow the on-screen directions.
CD boot: Simply burn the BIN/CUE provided, boot the disc and follow the on-screen directions

A special mode has been added to the updater application.
If you hold L1+L2+R1+R2 instead of pressing X to start the upgrade process, the settings and filesystem area will be erased from the flash.
This is useful if for some reason the settings or flash filesystem have become corrupt and are causing problems.

ToxicOS Main Menu
When booting into ToxicOS you will be presented with the main menu which lets you navigate through the various sections of ToxicOS.

Load Disk - selecting this will load the disc currently inserted in the CDVD drive. described in more detail below.

ToxicOS - selecting this will bring you to the main ToxicOS screen. described in more detail below.

Settings - Takes you to the settings screen. described in more detail below.

The main ToxicOS screen consists of four tabbed pages:

Games – lists the games currently installed on the HDD.described in more detail below

Apps – lists the homebrew applications currently installed on both the HDD and inserted memory card. described in more detail below

Browser – allows you to browse through the supported storage mediums. described in more detail below

Cheats – allows you to activate and manage cheats. described in more detail below

Navigating ToxicOS
The controller mapping for the ToxicOS main screen is as follows:
UP/DOWN - Move selection
LEFT/RIGHT - Alternate focus between toolbar and tab area
L2/R2 - Change the selected tab
L1/R1 - Scroll page up/down
X - Make selection
Triangle - Games tab: view settings/info for selected game,
- Cheats tab: display sub-menu (add/edit codes etc)

The controller mapping for the onscreen keyboard is as follows:
D-pad - Move selection
X - Make selection
Start - Shortcut for ENTER key
Circle- Shortcut for CANCEL key
L1 - Move cursor left
R1 - Move cursor right
L2 - Shortcut for BACKSPACE key
R2 - Shortcut for SHIFT key

The controller mapping for Boot-time
When the console is booting, holding down certain buttons on controller 1 will activate these modes/features.
CROSS - Use standard boot (over-ride default boot mode setting)
R1 - Boot into ToxicOS
TRIANGLE - MC Dev.olution mode
START - HDD Dev.olution mode
R2 - Flash Dev.olution mode
SELECT - Fast boot mode
L1 - Disable modchip

Load Disk
Theres not much to say about this except this will load the disc currently inserted in the CDVD drive. This can be a PS2 game, PSX game or DVD movie.
ToxicOS
Games
Run Games from the HDD
Using ToxicOS you can install and run games directly from an IDE HDD connected to your PS2. This leads to significantly decreased loading times and makes gaming so much more convenient. To do this, have the games tab selected.

From here you can:

Play games already installed on your HDD
Install a new game to your HDD
Remove a game from your HDD
Rename a game on your HDD
View information for a specific game and change game settings

Note: You can use Winhiip or HDL_Dump to install games and work fine with ToxicOS (SEE HDD partition format information below for details)

Moment of Truth na po ito mga Ka TS, Assuming that you can boot your HDD/USB and you can launch uLauncher in your system.....then add this in your storage for maximum performance!

UPDATE!

Marami nagtatanong sa akin about sa mga applications for PS2 okay here it is:
1. Those who wants a better interface and more compatible loader for games..you can use open ps2 loader(For non modded via memory card exploit) or Toxic OS (For modded PS2 via DEV method)
2. For other applications para sa PS2 like media players and other stuff' you will be needing a file manager or launcher for ps2 since elf files does not boot directly from hard drives or memory card exploit unless you totally maxed exploited it. For File launchers you can use:
1. uLauncer
2. Free McBoot (Recommended for Memory Card Exploit)

Now for the finale:
Applications for PS2:
1. SMS Player (Plays .avi and mp3 refer to readme in the file)
2. Emulators (See my link below. For any Request for other emulators just leave me a message )

May way ba para mainstall yung hd loader kahit walang lens yung ps2? ps2 ko kasi tinangal na yung lens, DMS4 modchip na xa and may 80gb network adaptor, bale rekta na sya sa hd..kaso nacorrupt kaya nireformat ko. Problem ko is may way ba na mainstall yung hd loader ng walang lens ung ps2 (wala din po pala aq memory na may freemcboot). thanks po...if wala tlga, dalhin ko na lang siguro ito sa raon...hehehe

un nga weh, ewan ko ba dun bkit kinatay chip ko, eh sabi nya kasi ung driver IC daw ung sira
kya pinalitan na din nya, kaso matagal ko na napaaus un weh, kya wala na ko habol,
may lam ka ba jan na bilihan ng murang adaptor? ^^

Problem ko is paanu maglalagay ng elf file sa HD. Usually kasi ginagamit nila is freemcboot (memory card exploit) or uLaunchElf (DVD exploit) para itransfer yung hdloader (elf) from usb drive to hd.. di ko lang sure if tama basa ko...hehehe...maraming salamat sir...mabuhay ka sa guide mu sa aming mga ps2 user loyal....n_n

Thanks sa thread mu sir, ito ginawa ko sa PS2 ng kapit-bahay namin, aun nagana din..hehe..thanks...

Ung sa akin pala, dinaan ko na sa Raon.Wah,, ayun nakakapag laro na ako. Kapag nireformat pala using winhiip, gumagawa lang pala xa ng partition para sa paglalagyan ng hd loader. Tinignan ko kasi anu ginawa sa PS2 q (same sa TUT mu talaga, n_n), Ayun bale sa Memory Card nila, ngtransfer cla ng HD loader from USB to my winhiip Partitioned HD.

Nagcanvass na din ako sa Raon, Quiapo, bale ito nakita ko :

PS2 Network Adapter (Slim) - P1.5K
PS2 Network Adapter (Thick) - P1.8k
PS2 Games download - P10.00
PS2 Modification (Modchip) - P400
Memory Card (8mb) - P250 (magrequest ka na palagyan ng uLaunchELF, FreeMcboot, or HD Loader para kahit kaw marunong na magmodify using sa Tutorial ni TS, may dagdag bayad ata ito, mga P20.00)

Nagtanung ako sa loob ng Global Building ata un, sa Raon Shopping Center kasi medyo mahal, dun din pala sila pumupunta para kumuha ng ibebenta sau (nagpadownload ako sa Raon dati 15, sabi balikan ko na lang, dun din pala sila makikidownload, hehe)
