Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:
Code:
budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

also please put your requests in this format:

Processor:
Motherboard:
RAM:

Video Card:

Hard Drive:
Optical Drive:

Power Supply:
Casing:

monitor:

Accessories:

please indicate (at least)the size of the hard disk desired, and also what you need/have/prefer.

Thanks.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

An example post would be as follows:
Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

Thank you.

Guys question lang mejo nag bago kasi pricing ng i5 6500 sa dynaquest dun ko sana balak kumuha this Monday, worth p rin ba yun? napapaisi ako ngayon if I should go with 6400 or 6600 or still stick with the 6500. Kung worth mag 6600 i think i can manage nmn na mag ganun pero as much as possible i would like to minimize kasi ung magagastos. Any inputs will be highly appreciated  thanks guys in advance. :yipee:

Mga MASTERS pa advice naman planning to upgrade GPU ako, below are my choices.

Concerns:
- budget for GPU above 1050ti
- power consumption and temp of 480
- Amd freesync for my monitor is an advantage(dont know how big or important)
- Amd crossfire; dx12 and vulkan support
- im a not so high end gamer, baka overkill na sa purpose ko more than 1050ti(playing nba 2k,nfs,cod,far cry, dota 2).

My Specs:
CPU: i5 4460
Mobo: Gigabyte G1 Sniper
PSU: Seasonic 620W
Monitor: LG 23MP68VQ (to buy)

Salamat sa mga mag share ng opinion at knowledge nila.

About Your Concerns:
  1. well... no comment on this one :noidea:
  2. rx480 is not like its predecessors with lower power consumption and cooler temps.
  3. freesync: not much. this feature is about the smoothness and fluidity of game play without any screen tearing on high FPS games. but you'll love it when you play on those monitors without the feature. also, freesync is for AMD cards only. gsync monitors are more expensive also :sigh:
  4. crossfire is a no. better sell your card instead and add the extra budget to your new stash and get a much more powerful single GPU. some games still suck or don't properly implement multi-gpu configs and their scaling is just poor or don't even support them at all. you'll also need a powerful PSU to power these multi-GPU's and will just cause more power consumption and produce additional heat. read this for more info: http://wccftech.com/multi-gpu-nvidia-sli-amd-crossfire-performance-value-comparison/
  5. try also considering gtx 1060 3gb. kung nasa US/canada ka, napaka-mura ng RX470 at around $170.

looks good  lalo na PSU, hirap maghanap ng EVGA dito... kung meron man overpriced pa :slap:
sagad ka na ba dyan? lalo na sa GPU... to weak for that build :noidea: try considering rx470 at maliit lang price difference sa US/canada but is a much better performer. or this could work out for you and just upgrade if you have extra budget.
case: tingin ka rin ng fractal design series or nzxt s340... that choice is purely aesthetic and doesn't matter much...
cpu cooler is also weak, but should be a good alternative until you get an AIO water cooler or those huge noctua coolers.

price to performance wise: 6500 ang best value. 6400's performance is too weak for an i5 based on reviews. mas malakas pa nga raw yung previous generation on the same price range. 6600 is just too expensive and most people would rather spend a little more for the unlocked 6600k and get it to run at +4.4ghz

si easypc may pre-built systems for your budget. punta ka dito:
http://www.easypc.com.ph/desktops/complete-sets.html
pero kung CPU at mobo lang talaga kelangan mo at meron ka ng HDD, RAM, case, PSU: i3 6100 (5,490) + ASRock H110M-DVS (2,800)

wala. get at least a 750ti.

and you just spent more than 30k on a 980ti
your GPU alone costs more than most members entire builds here
besides, you still have a very capable system

heto lagpas konti

very marginal daw ang performance difference ng kabylake against skylake. same architecture, just mhz bump across all processors except yung bagong unlocked i3 which beats the current i5's in raw performance... except syempre dun sa 6600k  siguro naman hindi na malalayo ang presyo nila sa current gen unless talagang ubusin nila ang availability ng skylake :noidea:
siguro sa US viable yang unlocked i3 since hindi ganun kalaki ang difference ng presyo ng mga motherboard nila. dito satin kasi grabe patong nila sa Z series :slap:

hahaha un nga panira khit gusto mo mag build ng under Z mobo na dapat under 5k range lang sa pinas -

Salamat ng madame Idol @themonyo

- So ok po pla temp and power consumption ng RX 480 noted on that, medyo mainet kasi samen kaya concern ko sya hehe

pwede naman upgrade. though top of the line i5 na yung nakuha mo kaya i7 na next step... pero kung gaming lang, it's not worth the extra cost :sigh: games rarely use more than 4 cores.
maybe more HDD for mass storage... your CPU cooler will need a good upgrade if you want to reach the full potential of your CPU.
your GPU could still be upgraded to the most powerful card out there once available pero i would only advise up to gtx 1070 kasi based on some reviews, bottleneck na raw ng i5 ang mga 1080 :sigh:
about sa rx470, just get the cheapest one you can afford or kung may hinahabol kang color theme. brands doesn't really matter much for me for the extra cost :noidea:

1050 has the best performance... basically gtx950 level na ang peformance nya but with less power consumption

pinag iisipan ko kung MSI B150M Night Elf or ASRock H110M-DVS / D4 Micro-ATX

di ko naman din kase ma check difference nila bukod sa additional ram slot at porma.

ano po ma susuggest nyo sir?

pwede naman. same generation at socket type yan eh.
kung sakaling di gumana, walang mangyayari. hindi magboboot yung PC mo. walang aakyat na power sa motherboard at mamamatay lang after pressing the power button. pero that is very unlikely unless sira yung CPU na bagong lagay :noidea:

I'm not Techy Person and I would like to ask if anu pwd ma recommend for upgrading my Processor.

AMD A4-3400 CPU Can I upgrade to i7 Processor?

Also recommend for Vcard 750 ti or GTX 1050 ti mini Hindi ma Over power ung processor.

Thanks!

Info:http://www.cpu-upgrade.com/CPUs/AMD/A4-Series/A4-3400.html

well, you can't just upgrade your processor lalo na at magkaiba ang klase ng motherboard sa existing setup mo.
also, i7's are not recommended just for gaming. games rarely use more than 4 cores. if you are into video editing and 3d rendering, the purchase of an i7 would be justifiable.
mas recommended na bumuo na lang ng bagong system instead na gastusan mo pa yan just to try to extend it's performance... besides, AMD is already phasing out those older generations and will release their AM4 by January
of course mas malakas ang 1050ti... it's basically the same performance as a 960 with lower power consumption.
