Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:
Code:
budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

also please put your requests in this format:

Processor:
Motherboard:
RAM:

Video Card:

Hard Drive:
Optical Drive:

Power Supply:
Casing:

monitor:

Accessories:

please indicate (at least)the size of the hard disk desired, and also what you need/have/prefer.

Thanks.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

An example post would be as follows:
Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

Thank you.

balak ko habang wla pa budget pang gpu. more on apu muna gagamitin ko

Ah, ganun ba. Sayang. Haha. Kung kailangan mo na talaga, go for it. Tsaka nanghihinayang talaga ako sa price difference, tapos plus two cores at four threads yung madadagdag.

A. Brand new RTX 2060
B. Brand new GTX 1660 Ti
C. 2nd hand GTX 1070 Ti
D. Wait for AMD Navi

Kung 1440p, go for 2060. Kung 1080p 60hz, 1660Ti or 1070ti.

3rd gen ryzen has been announced
attachment.php

these will be officially launched by July 7
meron din info about Navi 5000 series... yung RX 5700 nila ay supposedly a little bit faster than a rtx 2070...
By June 10, baka yan ang discuss nila with more details... maybe also the supposedly leaked 16core/32thread mainstream cpu nila na hindi included sa release on July 7....
wala rin info about Ryzen R3 3rd gen and yung bagong APU series nila. :noidea: maybe we'll get more info sa B550 mobos later on.

may mga several demos with the X570 mobos along with their new features like PCIE 4.0, higher RAM speed support, better power management para di kapusin ang cpu, at fans directly sa chipset...

abang muna tayo ng 3rd party, independent reviews bago bumili... pero these figures are very impressive

Sir ask kng, nag overclock kc ako ng cpu which is i7-8700k with corsair 100i v2.

:noidea:

399usd raw target price nila ayon sa leaks :noidea:
about sa power consumption, they would either go for +300w or less than 180w :noidea: based yun sa mga previous releases nila

:noidea:
thermal junction naman nyan ay 100°C... it will either throttle down the clock speeds or force CPU shutdown.
kung gusto mo bumaba yan ng around 20°C, kelangan mo delid yan at palitan ng liquid metal yung Thermal Interface Compound.

kung ang concern mo ay bababa ang life span ng cpu mo dahil sa high heat, i really can't answer that with a definite yes... meron kasing instance na yung Core 2 Quad Q6600 ay overclocked since day 1, buhay pa raw hanggang ngayon (Jayz2cents has mentioned it)... so, maybe luck na rin sa silicon lottery.

Basically, normal lng ung temp.. if don't experience any throtling means ok lng? And I'm actually aware about the life span when you overclocking gusto ko lng kc ma utilize ung cpu ko na magamit ko ung full potential, ska sa bios may automatic overclocking means that na mag overclock lng cia kung kaylangan pero pag manual overclock fixed ung speed nia, please correct me if I'm wrong.

heto build for 30k for video editing/photoshop:
cpu: ryzen 5 2600 = 8850
psu: sabi mo meron ka na... true rated ba yan? i wouldn't recommend putting a generic psu on this build at baka pumutok...
recommendation: seasonic eco plus 500w 80+ bronze = 2280
case: huntkey gx500t white atx = 1640 (or any case that you want)
hdd: WD blue 1tb = 2100
SSD: recommend to add an ssd for boot drive.. hdd is just too slow today (240gb = less than 2k)
GPU: get a 2nd hand rx570 or 580 for around 4~6k... brand new gpu's... gtx 1050 lang ata kakasya na sa remaining budget.

subtotal w/o PSU and ODD = 20,970

note: prices are from dynaquest's website for reference.

TIA

Sir TheMonyo Thank you dito sobra!!!!

hirap ng gusto mo :slap: basically huhulaan namin ang takbo ng technology for 5~10 years so your hardware will still be feasible... :noidea:
kahit unlimited budget mo, you can't predict the future of technology to say your hardware is still relevant after 10 years :noidea:
lalo na palabas na pcie 4.0 at 5.0... pati na rin ddr5 ram...
magkano budget mo? do you need peripherals (monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers, headset, mic, etc)
do you want those RGB effects?
any other preferences?

Sir TheMonyo Thank you dito sobra!!!!

SSD = Solid State Drive... there are variations of this like m.2 sata and nvme
try using google for simple questions like that
about sa Optical drive, nasa sayo yan kung kelangan mo pa. you can also opt for an external usb optical drive just in case na kelangan mo nga.
