that siggy was made waaaaaaaaaaaayyy back nung bago pa lang ako sa computer graphics and yun yung job title ko noon sa work (and yes, it had an "s" on it). now, i'm too lazy to edit it.
i keep silent until madamay ako, lalo na if i'm being lumped in together with atheists, which is a common thing for us agnostics.

most of us tambays in this thread did (i was a former INC). after all, majority sa amin, pinanganak sa theist families. as kung bakit, iba-iba yung reasons. yung iba, nagbasa ng bible using logic and hard facts, things didn't fit. yung iba, nagtanong sa preachers ng iba-ibang sekta, walang maisagot na matino/katanggap-tanggap based on logic and hard facts (i fall under this one). yung iba, out of whim, para maki-uso (yes, these exist), may pangit na experience sa religion nila or ng iba, as in maraming pwedeng maging rason.

Lumapit din ako sa ibang preachers ng ibang sekta, either di sila masasagot, ignore (even though ako lang yung nagtatanong na nasa harap nya mismo), and the worst one was minura ako ng pagsigaw nung na corner na. So much for absolutist doctrines, pag on the spot na ang mga tanong, nararattle. I commend the one na minura ako though, at least naglalabas siya ng totoong kulay nya, all the way to his cowardice nung binulungan siya ng kasama nya who recognized me by the face (I'm from a clan who's politically well related)

Respect, yes, by letting them do what they want and not mind it, wag lang ako idadamay. And that's exactly what most theists do upon learning na agnostic ako (auto assume na Atheist ako)
Bible's authenticity, for starters. Using logic, how can you say for certain that the Bible is indeed the word of God even though it is written only by man? Kinasangkapan sila ng god as one might say, but how can they tell when the ones mentioning it is also man? Also, with one book, maraming version sa isang language, some with different wordings. One word, sometimes one letter can make a huge difference (Google it if you'd like), so why is there a need to have all these versions? Again, we use logic to weigh in our decisions.

is it better kung magkaroon na agad ng conclusion ang isang tao (being a theist/atheist) or mag-stay muna sa pagiging agnostic na open sa lahat ng ideas...?

ganun pala .. baka naman fake ang napagtanungan mong pastor . baka magaling lang siya sa pera... marami narin akong napagtanungan na pastor na hindi nila nasagot ang tanong ko. matagal kunang gustong makipag usap sa mga atheist na open minded dito... marami kasi akong nakita dito na ibang atheist na walang respeto kaya nakakatamad makipag usap. pero alam ko may mga atheist naman na mababait at magagalang parin.
