Kailangan ba talaga ng swap space? I've read about it a bit at sa tingin ko hindi na nmn tlga siya kailangan at pampabagal lang(?) Especially if you have one disk and different partitions for the swap space and for Ubuntu. Ano po ang masasabi nyo mga kaSymbs? I'm currenlty running on Ubuntu 11.10 w/o swap space. Fresh install. Hehe.
Thanks for the info Sir topet! Hehe. Nainstall ko na siya kagabi. Nakatulugan ko nga eh.
Kaso nung nagreboot na ko after installation, "grub_xputs not found" then under nun is "grub rescue:" Mali ata ung installation ko. Huhu.
Reply na lng din po kayo if you can help. I'll do the guides that I found when I get home po. Though I'm still researching about it pa po.
Ubuntu 11.10 from BackTrack5 r1 po. Sinet ko manually ung partition na pnag-installan ko where BT5r1 was installed. Also chose the format option in the installation process using the LiveCD and didn't have the swap space po.
Thank you ulit Sir!

Good day! May nakagawa na ba
magpagana ng p2p communication ng
2 smart/globe/sun na usb dongle? I tried an experiment para makapag
gateway or internet ng network
provider natin pero gamit ko sila to get
in to the network parang lan. The 1st test is setting up a webserver
and it went good. Kita yung webserver
sa browser.
Pero nung magtry ako mag port
forwarding from pppoe to eth or lan
pppoe.
anyone?
Nakapag pagana din ng vpn. Bakit kaya yung iba ayaw ipakita ung .ovpn files nila T_T
Baka kasi premium accounts yung kanila. Also there are a lot of threads na kasi here in Symbianize that talk about config files (.ovpn)...so dun na lang tayo tumitingin, since network-based naman ang settings nun and not really dependent on the OS. As long as .ovpn file siya and the settings are correct
