Hi guys. Im also an x6 user. Kakabli ko pa lang xa. Wala pa 2ng 1 month. Ang problema ko e na ka lock 2ng x6 ko sa Smart. May way na ba tau pra ma unlock 2? Globe user kc ako. Kakaregister ko lang dn d2 sa Symbianize. This is only my 2nd day kaya madame pko alam. Btw, nabli ko x6 ko sa Ghills. Kaya xa nakalock kc cheaper ko xa nabli. Pero Bnew Nokia X6-16gb to. Nid help lang kc gsto ko talaga 2 ma unlock ASAP. Heres my email add: [email protected]. I would really appreciate any comment. Thanks in advance.

same problem here bro...yung akin naman locked sa three australia. naka-usap ko na yung cust care dun at binigyan ako ng unlock code pero hindi gumana...dahil cguro sa dami ng code na sinubukan ko upon researching sa net..so d nakatulong yung research ko...pero they will request unlock code from nokia australia and let me know once the master unlock code has been generated..advise ko lang sau na wag kang magtry na i-unlock yan on your own kasi sa provider lang mang-gagaling yung code (#pw+unlock code+1#). try mo twagan smart na ibigay yung unlock code if wala ka ng contract sa kanila..

@elison, hanap hanap din ako online pero wla pa raw.wla pa raw nakakadevelop ng calculator para sa symbian 9.4. pero lately may mga nla unlock na ng n8..d ko lang alam kung bakit wala pa sa x6

uhm, just to clear things out...

SOFTWARE is very much different from HARDWARE...

One thing/advantage that S^3 units have over S60V5 units is its HARDWARE...

take for example our own X6...

yes, we can make it behave like the iphone coz' meron nang mga applications to do that...

but still, it won't work like an iphone since iba ang hardware components nyan...

no matter how hard we try, an iphone will always be an iphone and an X6 will always be an X6...

kahit may app na yan to make it behave like that, hindi pa din gagana ang original apps ng iphone sa X6 since di ito supported ng mismong phone...

software lang ang napapalitan/naeenhance ng CFW, nothing more nothing less...

unless someone develops a software that could drastically CHANGE the hardware itself upon installation to replicate the S^3 and Iphone's capabilities, well panigurado magkakandarapa ako para ako ang unang makakuha nang software na yan hehehe...

so to make it short...

di uubra ang angry birds sa X6 kahit magflash ka ng CFW sa phone mo...let alone any other application specified for S^3 units...

although meron akong angry birds sa x6 ko, hindi po ito original hehehe...

portrait mode lang sya and medyo iba ang gameplay...

dalawa po yung nasa akin...

isang portrait mode(iba ang game mode) AT isang landscape mode(pero java version lang) kaya medyo tacky yung graphics...

attach ko na lang po mamaya...nasa desktop ko kasi yung game apps e...

laptop kasi yung dala ko now...

i'll post it when i get home...

anyways, regarding your PM...

pag po OFW(official firmware), meaning galing MISMO sa Nokia(original firmware files) meron po talagang CMT file or most commonly known as ROFS3...

pag po CFW(customized or cooked firmware), option po yun ng MODDER kung ilalagay yun sa flashing files nila...

pero mas madalas po na di na talaga sinasama yung ROFS3 kasi di naman kelangan...

kaninong CFW po ba ang balak nyong gamitin sa X6 nyo?

kung kay sunrider yung natipuhan nyo, WALA, i repeat, WALANG rofs3 na kasama yun...

uulitin ko po...

ang legend ng JAF ay ito:

it's still the modders choice kung anong mga files ang included sa kanilang CFW...

[RM-559 APAC] <-- eto yun hahanapin niyo pag mag download kayo ng latest firmware.. Ex. RM-559 v30.0.3 APAC

pag gagamit ka ng CFW.. first i paste mo muna yun na download mo na CFW sa C:\Program Files\Common Files\Nokia\DataPackage\Products\RM-559 then pag nag ask ng overwrite.. overwrite mo lang ..

again: extract mo muna yun na download mo na CFW then paste sa C:\Program Files\Common Files\Nokia\DataPackage\Products\RM-559 ...then overwrite..

2. install mo ang JAF 1.98.62 then after mo install punta ka sa C:\Program Files\ODEON\JAF at hanapin ang jaf_nok4models.ini

10. CLICK FLASH then pag click mo ng flash may makikita ka sa baba na power on device.. click mo lang power key ng device mo [click lang hindi long press] at mag flash na...

11. wait mo lang na ma flash or makikita mo sa message [flashing] box na "done!" "done!".. then automatic mag turn on na fone mo or wait mo na lang na mag done! then power on mo na ang fone mo..

good afternoon X6 users! Tanong ko lang po sana


1. Pede niyo po bang iexplain kung anu ang mga advantages and disadvantages ng CFW sa normal lang ng FW ng Nokia? bkit xa maganda? bkit po maraming gumagawa nun? may side effects po ba sa phone ? Can u explain it to me further ? newbie po kc ako sa hacking and 1 month old pa lang ako as a user of Nokia X6.

2. Yung X6 ko po e nakalock sa Smart Communications. Meaning to say d ako pde mag insert ng sim other than smart. Nagresearch na ko kung may unlock code na ba sa X6. Unfortunately wala pa daw po talaga (tell me kung meron na .....). So my question is kung sakaling mag CFW ako or mag update ako ng FW since mine is 20.0.005, maaapektuhan ba yung pag uunlock ko in the future? kasi may rumor na kasabay ng iphone5 ung unlock code ni2, o wala un kinalaman?


As I've said, newbie po ako, and Im not technical.

Kindly help me guys.
