Re: My Best Linux OS -->> Linux Mint (Updated)
Ive been using Ubuntu since 9.10 karmic koala..
Linux mint is also great, smooth GUI.
Pa of topic huh!!
Maganda talaga si linux, but theirs a lot to be fixed before Enterprise will migrate.
Sa experience ko sa office namin, napaka daming Graduates na hindi familiar sa linux. Also, almost all companies use Windows based programs for their work.
If you have worked with a lot of computers (100-1000), you will realize the power of windows.
Isa pa sa problema ng linux para sa mga big companies ay support. If hindi mag work, o may problema sa system nila, hindi nila pwedeng sisihin si ubuntu(or other distos) because walang warranty. Unlike windows, you could blame them and ask for solution (either on the app or the OS).
I think, personally, is that Linux will gain traction on time. Especially if google's android will be available (officially) on PC's. But things will be different five years from now. PC's wont be the "Personal" device anymore. Cellphones will take that place and as of now, android(linux) is on top!!
