guy's first time ko talaga mag linux dual boot po ako... ang hirap pala talaga...tips naman dyan sa isang katulad ko gustong matutu ng mga command nya
nga pala natry ko yong skype ...napakahina ng audio nya kahit naka tudo na...

Sinubukan ko yun sinasabing easybcd para mkapag dual boot, ang nangyari hindi na nagboot ang linux kaya tinanggal ko sya, ang problema ko ngayon pag nagloload ng windows, yung option na pipili ka kung anong OS ang iloload mo hindi mawala, hindi na sya deretsong nagloload sa windows. Sinubukan ko na idelete lahat ng creneate ko, nag system restore na rin ako pero ganun pa rin.
Iniisip ko pa kung iinstall ko ulit ang linux. Medyo busy pa kasi ko sa work at natatakot ako baka masira mga files ko. Pero gusto ko talaga matuto nito.

Pa O.T mga sir,,. kakainstall ko lang po ng linux mint at masasabi kong ok tong os na.. Tanong ko lang po kung merong apps na pang change ng mac(mybro mac) gamit ko pong pang internet ay DV235.. sa windows kasi may mga vbs script na pang change ng mac, mag rurun din po kaya iyon sa linux? thanks po

Anu ba ginamit mo? use rufus. mas simple lang. Tsaka make sure na you downloaded the linux mint installer from its website at ndi kung san-san lang.

Ano ba problema sa pag dual boot? you should learn how to use grub2 kasi your referring to how to control boot options at start-up.
Ano ba computer gamit mo? windows 8?
Dont use easybcd. sa installer naman ng linuxmint you already have the option to set-up dual boot ah? or ndi alam kung pano gawin?

Ano ba mahirap sa pagdual boot? nsa installer naman ng linuxmint yung option for dual boot. If your referring commands to set-up grub2 (ito yung screen na nakikita mo pagbukas ng computer para mamili kung ano OS ang i-rrun), here are somethings you should know:
1. It is possible to set how long the grub shall wait for you to choose the OS to load.
2. It is possible to change grub2's background, font and colors (its customizable).
3. Its possible to make grub2 automatically boot on your favourite OS without choosing.
Here's the tutorial.

Ahaha..ok nmn installation ko dre at ok na yong boot settings nya ang isa sa na eencounter ko ngayon nag ha hang bigla sya .. madalas na di katulad ng unang install ko
Parang di ata compatible sa laptop ko na Lenovo Z150 ideapad
Plan q magpalit nlang ng ubunto kaso napaka newbie q anu ba suggest nyo sakin ?

kalilipat ko lang sa linux mint rebecca cinnamon from xubuntu.
initial impression: mas maganda visually ang mint than xubuntu. Para syang win7. Madali at hindi nakakalitong gamitin pero siguro dahil 6 months user na ako ng xubuntu so kahit papaano hindi na ako newbie sa linux unlike nung bago pa yung xubuntu at fresh from win7 ako at medyo nangangapa pa sa linux in general
medyo mas matagal mag boot unlike linux. 1 minute and 6 seconds mag boot siguro mas heavy sya than xubuntu but with some tweaking napababa ko sa 43 seconds. Hopefully mapababa ko to at least 30s. shutdown time is around 5-6seconds. not bad. May idea pa ba kayo to speed things up. I changed the swap to 10, yung startup program ko tinanggal ko na yung nonessential except docky.
