Advantages & Disadvantages of Windows 7 Lite

Advantages:
- Since "Lite" yan, syempre mas magaan sa system. Mas mababa ang system req. - pwede kahit sa 1Gb RAM or lower. Ideal for old machines or kung mababa specs. ng computer mo.
- Mas kunti rin ang kino-consume na resources ex. RAM kaya mas mabilis ang pag load ng apps, better performance, faster responce.
- Shorter time sa pag-install.
- Tweaked. Usually naka-apply na rin yung mga tweaks/settings na supposedly mas makabibilis ng OS.
Disadvantages:
(Note: Naka-depende rin ito sa kung sino ang nag release ng modified version ng OS)
- No windows updates. Usually kasi, it's either mag-failed yung updates or ma-stuck ka sa bootloop.
- Since marami sa components ang tinanggal i-expect mo na na wala yung ibang features tapos malaman laman mo na yung kailangan mo pa pala ang tinanggal.
- For the same reason above, marami ring apps ang nagfi-failed or not working properly.
- Conflict with device drivers. Hindi mo ma-update o makapag-install ng driver esp. true for printers.
- Installation failure for some apps like
Net Framework, games, etc.
- No upgrades. Clean install dapat.
- Weird problems/issues. Bigla na lang di gumana yung ganito, yung ganun. Bigla na lang nawala internet etc.
- Instability. Mapapansin mo na lang later na madalas na mag-crash yung computer nyo.
- Compromised security. Baka merong backdoor na nilagay yung modder etc. and other risks.

walang system restore yung ibang lite na 7, pag magshare ng printer magkakaeror, kelangang i-on yun firewall. pagdating sa mga installer na iba, may mga error minsan na missing dll.

yung lite edition madaming kulang wag kayo gumamit nun, mas ok yun kumpleto magkakaproblema lang kayo dun. danas na naming ditto.

I have Windows 10 & Windows 10 Lite sa laptop ko. Ayos na ayos yung lite, gamit ko for gaming. 6gb lang ram ko pero smooth na smooth ang GTA 5, no lags/stuttering. Sorry pero di ko pa natry yung lite version ng Windows 7.

Ok.. yan pre gamit ko sa office namin...1g pa ram nang pc...sulit sa bilis for this os.

If anyone is interested in using Windows "Lite" OS or any modified Windows, be advised na the lesser the size of the image (iso) the more likely na mas marami kayong bugs na ma-encounter. Basahin ring mabuti kung aling features ang ni-removed. Also, the source, wag basta download esp. kung galing sa Chinese website, torrent, or walang forum about doon sa modified OS.
I myself gumagamit rin ako ng Windows Lite OS so I know the struggles and sometimes, it's not worth it. Right now, meron akong Windows 10 Lite Anniversary Update sa isa kong laptop (Netbook). I can say na satified naman ako. It's fast, clean and stable. Features included are working properly incl. Win Store at wala ring problem sa drivers. Kung gusto i-try, visit the link below. Meron rin sila for XP/7/8.1/10. Marami ring feedbacks from users.

Btw, pwede rin na ikaw mismo ang gumawa ng modified version ng OS mo for more customizations or security, download ka lang ng untouched iso from Microsoft at NTLite.
