I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

Kung ako sayo, bibili muna ako one at a time depende sa budget ko (e.g. processor and mobo first) then pag nagkabudget na ulit, next item naman na gusto ko para sa rig ko yung bibilhin ko.

For Intel, latest gen nila ng processors is socket 1150 so you might want to get a LGA1150 motherboard. Tanong ka lang sa shop na pag bibilhan mo kung compatible ba yung procie at mobo na bibilhin mo. Most of the time naman they will answer your questions specially pag sa mga reputable shops ka bibili. For AMD side I have no idea since never pa ko lumipat sa red team.

BTW, yung suggestion ko na pag bili piece per piece. Yun eh kung alam mo iassemble mag isa yung binili mo pag kumpleto na.

mejo alam ko po mag assemble pero uupa nalang ako ng gagawa din. cguro CPU muna bbilhin ko tapos isasama ko nalang ung CPU. na binili ko tas tatanong ko nalang kung anong bagay na mobo dito. ganun ba un?

Kung yung Noctua probably hindi sya mag kakasya. Pero yung Hyper 212 naman, if single fan lang ang gagamitin sa heatsink pasok naman siguro yung ram. One of the downside kasi ng air cooling is compatibility with high profile RAMs.

Core i7 unlocked kahit stock HSF. Wag ka muna magOC, overkill na yan kahit stock clocks. Tsaka ka na lang bumili ng cooler kapag kinakailangan na. Hehe.. Siguro after 3-5 yrs. haha!

Yes, z97/z87 po pang haswell OC. Pang serious overclocking po yang maximus vII series.

Kung kaya sa budget naman go for core i7 haswell.

No need to change your processor if you already have it. Kung plano pa lang, balance your budget for processor and graphics card to avoid some slight bottlenecks.

For your previous question, yes the NH D15 might fit some high profile rams depende sa configuration nung fans and may slight cut out din naman yung heatsink mismo, but I'm not sure about the NH D14.

For watercooling your 4790k, get the largest radiator that you can. Larger heat dissipation area = lower temps.

But kung sa specs ka naman tumitingin. I suggest na consider some of these kung kakailanganin mo ba, number of sata ports, pcie slots, ram speed supported, usb 2/3 ports, fan headers, audio specs, and other features or freebies. Syempre yung price din and warranty.
